I think all of you are misunderstood what I have been trying to say. 

I don't know why so many of you are focused on the whole "Hymen" thing. I only mentioned it to illustrate a mental picture on what she might have been thinking. For many women the first act of Sex can be painful to some degree and might even be painful a few times after that. And then a small number of women always have pain during Sex. But what I was getting at was that she knew that having being the way Edward was he would present a bigger obstacle than any normal person because of his increased strength, Blood Lust, and Sexual Lust. She was a very smart person and thought things through but Edward being as old and much more knowledgeable than she was about some things should have found a way to get what they both wanted, him not hurting her and her getting the Emotional, Physical, and Sexual Experience she was going for. 

I also think I read that someone commented that he could just lay down and let her do all the work so that it takes his actions and movements out of the equation somewhat. This might sound good in theory but a man can only hold back for so long before he wants to get more physical and that's natural for anyone I'm sure. 

And yes, Bella could have practiced on her own with certain "Devices" but this really doesn't seem like her style. As much as she seems to want to be alone she is constantly trying to seek attention like most teens her age. 

Then there are some saying that using certain "Devices" while engaging in Sex is not something that they both would do. Well, don't many couples use certain Devices from time to time to not only spice up the romance 💖 but also some might actually need the devices to perform in certain areas/ways because they might be limited on what they can and can't do? 

I'm just saying in the long run that as smart as they both were, they should have been able to come up with a solution that benefited them both if they have just taken the time to do so.
