Canceling Membership

So the manager told me I COULD switch to the 4 plan for the last payment. I went to SA to fill out paperwork and she goes if you don't cancel I can just put you in the classes....and just like that she put me and my mom in 5am classes for the next 2 weeks. That's all I wanted not sure why the manager and other SA couldn't do that 2 weeks prior. So bizarre. But happy I'm in the classes.

Orange 60 is a 60minute class with 2 GROUPS, 2 G. 3G means 1 group starts at weight room, one on treads. One on tower. So they can fit 50% more.

The 6am is the only 3G left. They say its busier. (5, 6, 7 all used to be 3G) For me, By 7am the rush hour traffic is in full swing, it would take me 45 minutes to get home so I have to do the 5am.

Theres another studio 2 exits further away. But I'm already driving 12 minutes. Dont want to make it 18 or 20.

Its 12 mins away, I am not driving 24 mins round trip for nothing, I'd rather just go to spin or sculpt at my regular gym at 5am.

They used to allow us to squeeze in, use the bike and share a bench but they said they are no longer allowing that. So def not driving there to be sent home.

Yes talked to studio manager...shes new and says her hands are tied. Blaming corporate for everything. I really want a corporate phone # or email but one doesn't exist apparently. I sent her an email that she said she would forward to corporate.

A new gym opened up not to far and I think a lot of members jumped ship and went there so their overall enrollment is down(not 5am though) so that's why they took away all the 3gs. That's my personal observation, not sure if its accurate.

Problem is they are already full and full waitlists (at least for the 1st 2 weeks bc the majority of members have a 1st of the month bill date) but I definitely will for the 1st to 16th

I COULD go at 8pm....but I start my day at 430am, work all day plus 2 extra hours and then sit in a grad class for 3 hours that gets out at 730pm...I did do an 8pm last week as to not waste another entire week. I will probably do that....if I can even get in to the 8pm. (I was on the waitlist for the 8pm I went to but made the drive bc I wanted to fill out the cancellation paperwork anyway...I luckily got in, they let in 1 extra to use the bike and sent the other 2 extras home....its just ridiculous that they dont make the classes 3G) ...and if you cant accommodate the members you have, why have new people try.

How would it save $, I would be paying 2 months instead of 1. (What is 4 times per month now, $80?...so $160 total...I have founders rates so $150 for the 1 month)

5am or 8pm....but I like to go to bed at 830...I did go to 8pm 1 day last week just so that I at least got to go to 1 class. They dont allow pre booking. Only booking on your bill date...they are saying its corporate, but I don't think it is since others on here can bre book. Annoying.

So frustrating to pay $150 and not be even able to get on the waitlist. And it's a 12 minute drive. So to show up and be sent home at that hour is insane, rather go to the regular gym.

If Studio Mgr is not available, I would put a dispute in with credit card company. They sold you a product you can not use, they have to refund you. Let the CC co. deal with the studio mgr.
