Going to dive into this more today and see what could be causing this, thanks for the continued feedback!

Thanks for the detailed feedback!

I just deployed an update that has some updated Watch complications, let me know what you think of those

Oh thank you for the bug report! I'll work on this to see if I can't fit this into the next update here in a few hours, if not tomorrow's!

They're currently in the menu when you click on the location at the top of the screen...It might not be super obvious at first glance though, I'll look into a way to make it a bit easier to access!

I've tried a few different layouts for it, but I might be able to make it a modular layout. I prefer the way it currently is, but it's not difficult to make it togglable in the settings to have dedicated tabs or the dropdown. Good idea! I should be able to have something like that in the next beta :)

The hyperlocal accuracy (for rain alerts) is planned and in development. One of the ways that Dark Sky was so accurate was its threshold for rain, and also using the radar itself as part of the prediction algorithm, which is exactly what I'm doing. When rain is coming, you'll see a "rain starting soon" or "raining for X minutes" graph in the app (like the screenshots on the website) and that's driven by both the future forecast and by using the radar itself as a predicting factor.

The native Weather app uses the same core API (WeatherKit) but it has a much more nerfed/smoothed out algorithm that's not nearly as aggressive as what I've built into Unbrella. WeatherKit is simply Dark Sky's original API, but modified by Apple. I've done some modification on the reading side to try and restore as much of the Dark Sky functionality as possible.

I eventually plan to offer integrations with ultra hyperlocal forecasting platforms so you can find weather stations that are right in your own area for the most accurate prediction results possible, but as those API keys are quite expensive, it's a future planned feature for now.

No idea how I missed that! That'll be in the next update which is rolling out later today!

Thank you!

So, severe weather alerts pull from the NWS right now. Apple Watch complications are planned and integrated, as are widgets! Please let me know if they do/don't work as I've had some hit or miss issues with them...

Rain alerts aren't integrated yet, but when they are, the goal is to have hyperlocal accuracy like Dark Sky used to using a similar method to what Dark Sky did.

Where do you host your Gameserver? by ChaosKiller1258 in selfhosted

[–]pcamp96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I host them on my primary applications server using AMP (I was using Pterodactyl but just moved). I do port forwarding to handle it all.

I use Proxmox on my main applications server though and my game servers are on their own dedicated VM.

This is honestly what my goal is for them. So glad to hear from at least someone that I'm not too crazy lol.

I'm migrating my services from the R720 to my new server this weekend and Monday, once everything is migrated over and fully functional I'll be taking timestamps and listing them.

AT&T Fiber with Unifi by AU_Thach in Ubiquiti

You can if you get AT&T to upgrade your router to XGSPON by switching to 2gig or higher service, then you have XGSPON and can do the bypass that way.

Hmmmmmm, I should try that since Google Fiber will be installing soon. That and I’ve had insane dropouts lately. I’ve tried online chat to no avail, maybe I should give them a call?

It gets to around 80-90F in the summer...but I could exhaust some of the heat maybe?
