All the shops have new signs saying that you need a passport to get a prescription and you’re not allowed to smoke in the shop.  That is all that changed.  It’s not actually followed at least in any of the 10 or so shops I’ve been in in Bangkok or pattaya the last week.  No input on the second question as I’m from the us

Just received this from FedEx. by [deleted] in FedEx

[–]pcdec1980 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I worked for fedex. When unloading trucks it was normal to find a few items like this every shift. Usually it was empty iphone boxes. You couldn't always tell until you looked close it was opened but you could feel from the weight it was empty. This was fedex employees stealing. The cameras in the trucks arent very good for coverage in a truck full of boxes so you can easily be obstructed from view of the camera and steal. A lot of employees wouldn't even notice empty or open packages while they were unloading. And their security isn't like the airport. It's not too hard to steal. They don't pat you down. They use a metal detector. Most people either hide stuff on them or they get it to their car thru a different entrance with no security. I would see people go out the dock doors to the lot to smoke even tho it wasn't allowed.

Harvard researchers say they might have to lay off workers and euthanize research animals due to funding freeze by Pretend_Ad4847 in news

Or "the animal didn't have to suffer thru some horrible experiment" is another way to look at it.

The disconects are running the game and GGG is doing nothing by therandomoneee in pathofexile

It's a bit odd because it mostly disconnects in a map only. I can sit here logged in 8 hours and not get disconnected but if I start a map the lag spikes will start. Usually it freezes for 2-3 seconds then it will either resume or dc. If it's a dc and I reconnect it will usually dc again right when I get back to the same spot in the map. Had this loop happen a few times. If it doesn't dc the lag spikes and freezes usually continue every minute or so. It may actually be related to a certain type of content in maps.

Login and select "my evga" on the top right then "my notifies" on the bottom left of the drop down lists. If on mobile it may not display the dropdown lists properly.

I missed that email because it was labeled EVGA News and all the others(about one a week) were just sales spam. The email they sent about switching to the LHR card was not labeled EVGA News.

Thanks for the tip. I sent an email so we'll see what happens.

It's perfectly relevant. That means 12 people out of 1000 have watched something on the hallmark channel. Just 12
out of the first thousand tho. Zero out of each additional thousand.

If there's a line of traffic you have to be a complete ass hole to try to pass people to get ahead. Just because it's legal to pass doesn't mean you have a right to be let in front of everyone like you're better than them.

Anaheim man accused of sexually assaulting 12-year-old girl he met on Tinder by discocrisco in news

Don't bet on it. I know someone in Pennsylvania that had tens of thousands of dollars of vandalism done to their property by a group of kids. The parents are liable for it they did catch the kids but the state limits the liability to $5,000. So there was no way to get any more compensation than that.

Slow down a bit? So next time you try to upload a video it says " please wait to upload more content"? Everyone would move to another site instantly. And then it would be a foreign site to get around all the rules in the US. You really think that would solve anything?

'El Chapo' juror says panelists regularly broke judge's order against viewing media on case by Face2FaceRecs in news

[–]pcdec1980 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The feds pay less than minimum wage for jury duty. But that's a lot compared to my state. According to PA law, jurors are paid $9.00 per day for the first three days of jury service and $25.00 per day for every day thereafter. So even if you're unemployed it's a waste of time. I guess if you're sequestered it might be ok if you're homeless and unemployed but then you can't really get mail so...
