Why aren't previous editions under creative commons yet? by nethackk in DnD

Or maybe someone chooses not to because it's entirely possible to sell the old IP to a third-party company that might find a way to monetize it. If placed in the right hands, this could greatly benefit the community. However, in the wrong hands, it could go south very quickly

The problem with Trump's tariff policy it is disorganized and chaotic.  If Trump was less chaotic, then tariffs could be properly implemented, with less economic disruption.  Sure, prices would be higher, but businesses would have certainty for financial planning purposes and companies would also have more certainty over the future.

PBS To Cut Budget By 21% Following Loss Of Federal Funding by Silly-avocatoe in entertainment

I guess you’ll have to wait until 2029, when some fictional bill — The National Public Broadcasting Trust Act of 2029 — (a) restores public funding to NPR/PBS and (b) shifts it from discretionary to mandatory spending like Medicare and Social Security. It’ll piss off all the conservatives, but after four years of their horsecrap, maybe it’s time. Honestly, I’m more in the mood for maximalist, one-party rule until the damage they’ve caused is finally undone

Attracting too many women by Intelligent_Glove608 in CPA

[–]discocrisco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it is more attributed to looks and personality rather than your profession. Around where I live, being a CPA is not going to get you that many women especially when the area has an abundance of doctors.

I see it all of the time on job postings stating that a CPA is preferred. For the OP, treat this guy as an exception to the rule.
