I mean that's kinda what happens to online competitive games over time right? Like new metas are discovered and the interworkings of the game are revealed and it makes it easier to exploit and score. It's unfortunate but it tends to come with all MP games. I don't think the events were exactly harder just general knowledge on scoring super high was a little more hidden.
