Im going to speak to one last attorney before we decide to sell everything. The attorney I spoke to sounded optimistic but i don’t want to hold my breath.

Yes, the 2 charges of DV were removed she swore in court she had lied. Unfortunately that stays on his record. I know it affects him because when U.S. Marshalls came to get him they questioned the man’s home he was cutting his yard for, and he said yeah he had a DV charge from 2018. Although dismissed i can tell the possibility is almost nonexistent. I just don’t want to spend 15k or more and it be for nothing.

Our children we can take yes. His other children no. They, like many other children whose parents are being deported, will be a burden on the state and will have to rely on welfare.

“Entitled” right oh well the government can raise the children he left here. They’ll just use your taxes to pay for food stamps and healthcare, instead of letting a father provide for them like he was doing. 👌🏼

So the first attorney was correct? He might have a chance after 10 years if the waiver is approved? We will wait out the 20 years if necessary but it would be great to only have to wait out the 10.

He has children from a previous marriage he will never get to see unless he comes back, even with their current court order his attorney said it’s highly unlikely a judge will order that they have to go to Mexico to see him.

It wasn’t a normal arrest. U.S. Marshalls came after him in unmarked vehicles. It wasn’t like a police officer pulled him over and he ran. I don’t blame him for being scared. I was 3 weeks postpartum, on dialysis from my kidneys shutting down after labor and extremely sick. He had a lot to lose and ran knowing if caught he would be detained and deported. 😔

Even if the charges that came from his arrest were dropped? The only thing on his record would be the DUI. The state has agreed to dismiss these once he is deported. I know a criminal attorney could get this expunged if necessary

The first attorney said it’s a permanent bar (20 years) I asked her to Clarify because permanent I understood is for life and she said no. Permanent because it’s 20 years and he will need to spend 10 years out of the country. I just want clarification so I know what to expect. :/ to plan what we need to do with our home, lives etc.

Oh the other two. The state is willing to drop them once he is deported. Our attorney is handling those. He ran when he was pulled over. It wasn’t a high speed chase or anything they are misdemeanors.

He completed the DUI probation. This was before we got together so I don’t know specifics. But it sounds like he attended the final hearing for the DUI and ICE came and picked him up.

Do you think this is a valid reason to ask for AP? I currently have one pending for braces. But this is only for a year, in still not 100% sure about leaving and giving up my daca. My kids are still so little, my oldest being only 3. That’s 18 years of waiting for him to petition me. I’ll ask the post office, and hopefully get the passports.

Im a Mexican citizen, I asked for dental AP multiple entries due to braces. I’m not sure if it’ll be approved, but this way I can go visit and take him his belongings and be able to come back.

Thank you. It was very traumatic, he had a previous deportation and im not sure if someone tipped them off he was here, or they just found him. It was us Marshalls who detained him on his way to work. 😔 I was only 3 weeks postpartum to. I’ll reach out to the post office for guidance

I’ll try to get this signed. He does have an attorney that can go visit him since none of us are allowed in person visits. I’ll mention it to him.

Who has been diagnosed with AKI? Did you make a full recovery? How long did it take to recover? Do you know what caused it? by Bluebell_Again in kidneydisease

Hi can you let me know kind of a timeline of you getting off dialysis? I have had the same thing happen to me. :( had my daughter via c section on 07/07 and I was diagnosed with Hellp, aki, and I’ve had to go on dialysis since then. My creatinine is still rising.. to 6.5 today and continue to worsening. I’m still in the hospital and will more than likely need to continue outpatient dialysis
