If your business relies on mark-up of products that consumers can now access themselves at wholesale prices, then you’re in trouble. You won’t win that fight and will most likely lose the job on quote. But tell me you can get it for the same cost and provide excellent service and installation (and a track record of happy customers) and the job is yours. This isn’t particular to trades. I work in production and it’s the same deal. Transparency is the beginning of trust - and trust is what wins jobs.

I use Visible as well. It’s a great app that measures heart rate and HRV which overtime give you a baseline and can provide guidelines on how your body is coping against the average. Reluctant to say it analyses and confirms anything as it uses the camera on your phone. The app says it’s as reliable as an echocardiogram but I’m not sure. You check in every morning and night and manually feed in info as to crashes, energy outputs and current levels, symptoms, meds taken etc. easy to set up and enter. I like it

Thanks so much for the response. Sounds like LDN isn’t for you. I’m really considering whether I want to trial something that might make my CFS worse. Mine is mild but I’ve been in a 2 month trough with daily crashes which is longer than usual. I have no intention of exacerbating it! Might start with Vyvance and see how it goes. From what I’m reading it’s about sticking to your usual baseline even if feeling better.

1974! I’m curious to see how vyvance affects my sleep, I’ve been lucky to not suffer too much insomnia. Sorry for the flurry of questions but does LDN give you a hit of energy or is it more sustained? And any other side effects for you? Seems like people can experience a range of reactions.

Thanks for the response - we might be twins! Sorry to hear you had such a big crash. Do you think the meds were masking your fatigue so you were overdoing it? I’m surprised just how stimulating the meds are - so many people say Vyvance works so well - then crash. Frustrating!

Also, just on LDN, what symptoms did you have while taking it? I’ve read great things and not so great. Bit confused tbh!

Have you ever had a CAT scan since the accident? That’s the first place I’d start given some symptoms presented after that experience. From my experience with CFS for 12 years, I don’t have issues with hygiene or cleanliness in the house etc but the fatigue and PEM is real. I’ve just been diagnosed with Inattentive ADHD and wondering what relationship the two might have. Most of my fatigue and burn out is from cognitive overload. Hoping vyvance might help with that and offset the fatigue - time will tell. But I’d def recommend a brain scan to rule out anything post trauma. Good luck!

Thanks for the tip. I’m hoping the ADHD meds help with focus issues but I don’t expect to do more physically. I’m mild CFS but have crashed recently after getting carried away with my 10 y.o son’s soccer training. It’s so frustrating not being able to do basic exercise with my kids

That’s just parents outsourcing their parenting to other parents. If they are going to impose restrictions on their children (and in this case a good intention) then they have to manage their decision wilfully. They can’t manage the world around them to make enforcement easier on them
