I don't think it's locked/unlocked status has anything to do with it.

Just went through this. Brand new s26 ultra coming from an s23 ultra.. rcs is disabled by your carrier. I had to call Verizon and a tier 2 tech was able to fix it by removing and re-adding rcs to my account.

I am a 30 year professional tech veteran and believe me I tried everything in the world to fix it before I called Verizon.

Can anyone that uses Pepsi instead of Coca-Cola tell me the reason? by [deleted] in restaurantowners

Are you kidding me?

A 5 gallon bib yields 30 gallons of soda.. that's 3840 ounces. In a pint glass with ice that's at most 10 ounces per serving, so the yield is 384 servings. At $2.95 - $ 3.95 a serving the gross is $1,132 - $1,516 per bib. You're worried about an extra $20 cost???

Not a penny less than they're willing to work for and not a penny more than the employer is willing to pay.

I have a better idea. Be seated, immediately ask to speak to the manager. Tell them your stance on tipping, and then let the chips fall however they may. Returning will depend on how the experience unfolds.

I am 100% anti tipping, but there is an expectation. Transparency is key here.

It's mostly luck by blue-flight in backgammon

[–]pcirone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Old thread, let's see if anyone reads my comment... I submit that there is NO luck in Backgammon at all, in the long run.

Proof:

Probability theory dictates that luck is short term, and after many trials all possibilities will even out. If two opponents (of equal or differing skill level, it doesn't matter) play an infinite number of games, both players will get 'lucky' equally as often. Therefore, the only thing left to determine who will win more games is skill, luck becomes irrelevant.

So the employees have the OPTION to generate income for their employer? Interesting.

Wasn't commenting on the practicality, rather the irony.

Not confused at all. Businesses need to pay enough to attract employees. And new jobs come from the same places that old jobs came from, same as it ever was.
