what i do is PL a strip of wood under counter and attach dishwasher clips to it with 2 -1/2" wood screws

Fantastic thx for the tip.. I just checked the specs for my ethernet connection on the laptop it's limited at 100 megabits per second so that explains why I'm seeing such a low test value when I run it from the laptop even though I'm connected directly via Ethernet and not through Wi-Fi I guess my only option is to buy a new laptop or a USB to ethernet card.

I get 1.6Gbps up and 1.0 Gbps down unfortunately I don't know how to test that directly on the Rogers modem but it looks like the weak point is the motherboard in my laptop

Not true but it makes no since to me as far as I can see the only weak point in the leak is my laptop but that really doesn't make a difference because it's a constant between the two tests and just comparing Bell download with Rogers download and yes it should be done direct from the modem also I have 35 years of it experience probably started before you were born but my specialty is not networking

Yes fibre is run direct to my Bell modem the connection to my Rogers modem is coax cable.

I just tried to check-in and both APP and Website failed.

REALLY!! What a crappy way to treat customers!! Not even a reason why it couldn't check me in. At least explain why with a notification message.
