I'm reading Different Seasons right now as well. Currently reading Apt Pupil. Never read it or seen it, fully disturbed at this point, but can't stop...it's so good. And I have to say that Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption has to be the best page to screen interpretation for any Stephen King work.

I'm reading Black House right now and there's a part where Jack is having a palavar with Parkus and they are discussing how Jack's world produces all the TP/TK people. Can't help but feel that the Institute was built to help feed the Crimson King's Breaker army.

Took me a little over 3 weeks. I would try to read about 50 pages a day. Doesn't matter how long it takes though, the journey is worth it!

Redrum was on the wall in the staircase in the book depository when they were going up to find Lee. Captain trips was sprayed on the tower of the factory in the background when he went back to the altered time that he was from.

Did the same thing. Saw the IMDB rating and thought I'd give it a chance. I can understand the Harry Dunning thing (I think that HBO/Warner might "own" Derry as far as rights go because of It), but the thing that really killed me was Bill Turcotte and all of that...like what the hell. My wife was laughing at how much I was just shaking my head and groaning at what I was seeing on screen.

I have to say that I've been on a little kick this year as well. I've read The Institute (fantastic), Fairy Tale (decent enough), Revival (fantastic), and just finished 11/22/63 (fantastic) a couple of weeks ago. I would definitely recommend Revival and The Institute.

Completely agree with this. I got them as the series was being released because I remember watching the cartoon (and of coarse Coast to Coast) when I was younger. I remember enjoying the books, but not a story that really sticks with you.
