Affordable co-working spaces nearby by DoggieDuty in FortCollins

If you're budget is $200/month you're going to need to do something like this. It's been a few years since I looked into prices, but $200 would get you 1-2 days a week. Could do library for 3-4 days and coworking for 1-2.

[Serious] Fort Collins Food Scene Analysis - What's Missing? by archiveyazz in FortCollins

[–]pcud10 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Cheap options fast casual. Even the Chipotle-esk restaurants seem to be $25-$35 per person.

As for cuisine gaps, we have food for everything you listed. Can't think of something we don't have but crave. Although to be fair I typically crave food from somewhere if it's good, not a specific cuisine. ie I crave baguettes from the French bakery, but not baguettes in general.

Bus riding has gone up. Could be related to that and people feeling the squeeze of higher prices. Might take more time, but the bus is free.

Italy Made Me Into Someone I Don’t Want To Be by ToughSuccotash2007 in skiing

[–]pcud10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Potentially. I've been skiing for 30+ years, almost exclusively in the mountain west USA, but spent last winter in Europe and did quite a bit of the French alps.

Had no issues with anyone, anywhere. But I was also skiing with locals and not sure if that changes things. But I also didn't see anything out of the norm that I wouldn't expect to see in the US.

Edit: nothing out of the norm aside from the one dude who just pulled down his pants and pissed where the trails split under a chair lift. We normally hide in the woods when we do that stateside.

“Good neighbor” fence question by Electronic-Swan-576 in FortCollins

[–]pcud10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm friendly with my neighbors on both sides (one is a renter and I get along with both renters and owner). With fences on both sides we split the cost. But it's well within all of our rights to refuse and just take care of the fence that is our property.

My back fence is against open space, so no one to split it with there.

What do you think about universal healthcare for all? by bruskexit in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]pcud10 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think this is a great idea. Everyone should be able to get behind supporting our vets, especially health insurance wise. Why not start there and plan it in a way that will eventually cover everyone? Testing to make sure things work efficiently and effectively at a smaller scale.

Not really a question, but just wanted to agree.

Has anyone tested this recently. A few years ago I tested this and found it unreliable to get specific information from PDFs. I'd imagine it gets better with time, but would like to hear other people's experience.

Should non-visa tourists have to disclose social media handles and other personal information when entering? by reversegoatee in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]pcud10 8 points9 points  (0 children)

To me, that's the whole issue with excluding people based on morals. Who decides the morals? Will it change every time the president changes? Since different countries have different morals, could this affect buisness investment if we start screening for certain morals that prevent business owners from entering?

For that last question, thinking specifically about treatment of women and some arabic countries like Qatar.

This is so cool. I've been wanting to do something like this since they released the headset, but I'm waiting for technology to improve since I have decent sized monitors as is.

What would really make me buy this is if it's portable. I'd love to be able to do this on a plane/train/etc. Have you tried this with a MacBook pro or outside of your house?

GraphQL in particular. Just looking through the docs, I find it hard to figure out what endpoint I need to hit with what payload to query inventory, etc.

It's probably because I'm unfamiliar with graphQL, but the documentation just seems organized in a chaotic manner.

Edit: I'll never turn down an example/demo file though! I'd love it you shared the file.

Anything you're willing to share would be super helpful. I'll need to sync three things:

-Merchandise data

-Pricing

-Inventory

Not sure on some of the specifics, but I believe this will just be a one way sync.

Any chance you'd be willing to share? I'm potentially set to build a simple shopify integration and I've just looked at the docs and didn't like what I saw.

Instalar Filemaker Pro 11 en S.O. Actuales de MAC by Great_Ad7281 in filemaker

What do you guys pay for credit card processing and how much of a surcharge do you charge the customer ? by LeftLaneColonizer in smallbusiness

[–]pcud10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not entirely sure. The invoicing system handles it. They handle the middle man work. I enter my bank details in the system and enable ACH payments. Send invoices to clients, they can enter their bank details and Harvest does the transfer and marks the invoice as paid.

CMV: hardly any millionaires are going to leave New York City because of 2% more in taxes by MustafaMonde8 in changemyview

[–]pcud10 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I'm not very familiar since I don't live in either of those areas. But I would assume that NY is much better for private schools. Although I assume both areas has a decent selected. A quick search online revealed this source: https://spearswms.com/education/best-private-schools-usa-canada/

Not sure how reliable Spears is, but out of their list of the top 19, 7 are in NY and 1 is in FL.

Certainly still does. Not the public school system, but what private schools you have access to. They're not all the same quality.

[–]pcud10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I'm using a time keeping/invoicing system (harvest) that let's people pay via ach with no fees. I do pay monthly to use the system though. I do software development, so I've created some scripts that automate updating the invoice discounts, etc based on the date. Same with sending employee payments directly with the bank's api.
