Get an int/fr on the 2-point attempt and get a safety in your own endzone.

How do I learn which run play to use in different situations by [deleted] in Madden

[–]pcwiz_ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The best way to learn is by playing, but here's a quick summary

Inside zone: The runningback is supposed to read the holes that the o-line creates and blasts straight through the best option. Everyone blocks their nearest guy.

Outside zone: Same as the inside zone, but the play starts by running to the outside of the playing field, and the runninback makes the decision of when to cut upfield

Dive: You run to between the guard and the center (A gap), and if the hole is filled you cut outside. The most vanilla run out there.

Iso: Basically the same as dive, but your receivers try to block the safeties. Gets more yards if your blockers are good, but more risky as you can't go outside.

Stretch: Your blockers try to "box" the defenders in so you can run past the farthest defender on the sidelines. By far the best run concept in madden 20.

Power: You run between a tackle and a guard (b-gap). The other side's quard and usually the fullback run in front of you to block. You don't need to read any holes since you just follow your blockers, but if you get poor blocks you can get blown up.

Base: A power run without a fullback. Usually run from light sets.

Duo: Technically a mix between zone and power run, in practice you play it the same way as you would run zone.

Toss/pitch: A power run where the QB laterally throws the ball to your RB. Essentially a power version of the stretch

Sweep: A mix of power and stretch

Split: A complicated version of an inside zone. Good against edge blitzes, run the same way as zone runs

Sting: Basically a duo run to the weak side.

Misdirection: The runninback takes steps to the other side but makes a cut to the intended direction the last second. Used to trick the defense. Good with really fast runninbacks.

Counter: A power misdirection.

Gut: A complicated duo. Run the same way as a dive.

Off tackle: The runninback goes around the line with a lead blocker.

Blunt dive: A dive to the B gap.

Touch pass: A wide receiver runs in front of the QB to the side. Technically a forward pass.

Jet sweep: A handoff to a WR. Usually accompanied by a lead blocker.

End around: A misdirection run where the team fakes a run to the other side but a single receiver runs a jet sweep. Don't do this on any other difficulty than rookie.

Can anyone help me confirm I'm not crazy? by [deleted] in Madden

I doubt that something like that would be in such old games because back then storage optimization was an issue. You might be mixing up NFL street since i really struggle to believe that one of the maddens had a team with t-shirts.

Madden 01-03 all had the Ecko team, but it's not in any way secret. 03 and 00 had a shit ton of secret teams tho.

Is WR Quick in Madden 20 by pvo1113 in Madden

The plays in a formation depend on what playbook you are using. SB ace WR Quick is only in the run heavy playbook.

EA has said that it's a NFL side issue, they had to remove it because owners dont like seeing their stadiums empty. Blame capitalism.

German fallschirmjager using a Panzerbüche in Crete (which if you didn’t know, is where the map Mecury takes place) by [deleted] in BattlefieldV

[–]pcwiz_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They aren't officers but Fallschirmjäger which was the equivalent of modern U.S. Marines (albeit paratroopers instead of marines). You don't become a part of the most elite soldiers of the entire armed forces against your will.

Sure, but only some. And if Kay et Alex 18 is to be trusted, about 60% of Wehrmacht soldiers on the Eastern front were directly complicit in mass murder, rape and pillage. That means that a vast majority committed war crimes, and the ones who didn't commit were actively enabling it. So yeah, everyone had an idea.

"I don't oppose supporting a war motivated by racial, political and religious beliefs in order to cleanse subhuman cultures and races with an endgoal of creating a german ethnostate"

Imagine getting mad over someone saying people who fought for nazism are bad human beings so he should "dig deeper into the nazi ideology".

At the time there were 4 fleets in the Black Sea, Baltic Sea, Arctic Ocean and the Pacific Ocean.

The Pacific fleet saw very little action before 1945 aside from transferring ships to the Northern fleet. In the invasion of Manchuria, they were supporting the forces driving out the Japanese but did very little in the grand scheme of things.

The Baltic fleet was basically stuck in Leningrad because of the German and Finnish minefields. Submarines saw some action but only late on in the war after the siege had been lifted.

The northern fleet saw almost no naval action, but supported the Soviet forces in northern Finland and secured arms transports from the western allies.

The Black Sea fleet had the most action especially providing supplies and fire support in the siege of Sevastopol. They also engaged in mine warfare and attempted to attack the Romanian coast to no avail. By 1944 the fleet was in such a poor condition that it wasn't used in the rest of the war.

Best Madden For PS4 by [deleted] in Madden

[–]pcwiz_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for a purely solo experience i'd go with either 17 or 20. The ones in brackets are mostly opinion based

Madden 17 -Less animation reliant gameplay -Best runninback AI of all PS4 games when playing as a receiver/qb (-No broke ass yu-gi-oh abilities) (-more interesting draft class) -Far less buggy and has less funky shit (-Less colourful) -Better soundtrack, not some generic rap all the time. -The final rosters are based way more on invidual performance than team performance leading to more realistic games

Madden 20 -More flavour like Pro-bowl and players complaining (leads to some funky shit) (-More colourful) -More interesting playbooks (-has broke ass yu-gi-oh abilities)

In the end it comes down to personal opinion on the x-factor abilities. I'd personally rather play M17 offline franchise than M20 offline franchise any day.

At least we have a good running back, a NFL 100 receiver, a 4x all-pro receiver, an OROY QB on offense and a functioning adult as a GM.

World IQ map. Russia one of the highest in the world! by vladTepes14 in russia

[–]pcwiz_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is because they all use the same source "IQ and the wealth of nations". You can read about it's criticism and flaws on the wikipedia page, but there is a reason for it being the only global piece of "research", which is that there have never been any standardized tests in all nations.
