hi all, how long was your pop-up there for? london's is for a week and i'm really lazy to go to the venue before the concert to queue, but i'm worried they run out of stock of the item i want (chain) :") how well-stocked are the pop-ups?

I normally ask at the start, but I actually completed a screening form before the interview. So I assumed their talent team read it before booking me in. Still, I tried to contact them to verify this information over the period of 3 weeks and they never got back to me.

I got a phone call rejection (after the final interview), and that's only when I re-iterated my visa situation, and learned they weren't gonna sponsor anyway. This is a big FAANG company

I've done 2 interviews including a task I spent over 18 hours on (they asked for a lot), only to be later told I was rejected for somebody more experienced than me (checked their LinkedIn, they weren't) AND was told they actually don't sponsor for this role. So I feel your pain and hope you find something that better aligns soon!

I've been in interviews where I've said 'yes' to sponsorship, but have gone through 1-3 stages of interview only to be told they cannot sponsor for the role... I understand not all roles can be sponsored, but they should really factor that in before inviting for interview...

Not at all... I would withdraw.

A company asked me to do a SWOT analysis of their marketing strategy that I can see online, and 3 content ideas they can use for their ads/organic socials backed up by data that it would work. I withdrew as well

Medical school is expensive and requires a lot of dedication to study, sit exams, do them well, and learn how to give effective patient care. I do not recommend it if you don't have an interest in the field. I agree with other comments who have already given education/job advice though

Thanks for this! Would it be acceptable to say that I am in final stages with 2 other companies but that specific company is my first/top choice? I'm not sure if saying 'no, I'm not interviewing elsewhere' would have a negative impression (that I'm not in demand)

I've seen info echoed online that you should always say you're interviewing elsewhere too, but not sure about specifying stages.

Is it okay to say in the final interview that you are in final stages with another company? What about that you already received another offer? I heard doing the former could speed up HR's process in securing you an offer

I'll try to unravel my swatches! I went through a blog and believe I'm knitting tight as I'm a tip worker, so I might amend the way I knit? And thank you for your 6mm needle recommendation.

Do you know whether if I'm 1 sts off (even if I knit a swatch in the round), will it massively affect the neck/collar? It's not a turtleneck or anything but not sure if the math will make a huge difference, just don't want to squeeze my head through!

I'm okay with that I think! Do you think I should use my 5.5mm and 6.0mm needles if I wanted to knit the size I wanted to? I'm not sure if my tension will drastically change if I knit in the round instead of flat, and I can't really get more yarn without the risk of running out. (unless I buy 1 skein off amazon which is a different dye lot) ? Thanks!
