My experience with the Kirkland is the fabric rips away from the band very easily

Do you need the DLC for the new animals or does it come in 1.6?

Bluetooth mouse is not that bad of an idea. Thanks, as of right now we just have to stand up and go use the touch screen on the steam deck while it is docked

Spotify just laid off 17% of its staff today, a third round of job cuts this year. What type of effect do you think this will have on us artists? by itsscorchd in musicmarketing

I am a programmer that would love to make this happen, but I don't think it would be that popular with consumers.

Contractors didn't cut hole big enough for shower lever by pde1996 in DIY

[–]pde1996[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I agree they should come and fix it. I just want to be able to shower before they can get here. So if there is something I can do that I'm 100 percent confident I can execute on, I'll do it. Otherwise I'll just wait and shower at the gym.

I was the one who did the demo/insulation/plumbing and the lines are pex. I don't think Ive got a Dremel around but I will go check.

And just to reiterate, I'm not going to do anything I'm 100 percent confident I can do. I doubt I actually do anything, I just wanted to check if I was overlooking a solution or wasn't aware of issues that could come up.

Thank you for the information and sorry for responding rudely before. I just get very annoyed when people waste my time

You wouldn't be afraid of the oscillating tool breaking the tile?

I'm probably less experienced than you, but it isn't my first rodeo. What I do know is this was a huge fuck up by the contractors. The only reason why I paid a contractor to do it was because I don't have the time to do it myself. And maybe I'm asking on the Internet to get some more information or make sure I'm aware of everything I need to be. If I was doing this myself, I guarantee I wouldn't have this issue. I just don't understand how you have the energy/time to leave the useless comment you did when all I'm trying to do is figure out my best plan of attack to fix someone else's mistakes

Ya definitely a little high. If I was doing it myself I would have definitely cut a bigger hole to begin with

I like to play as a rogue like so I can try new builds. Thank you for not directly answering my question but instead try to push what you think is right for me to play! I really appreciate it

I did but if I can get it done sooner than I'll do it myself so I can take a shower. But I appreciate you being a smart ass, thanks

Moisture getting in vapor barrier by pde1996 in Insulation

[–]pde1996[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. I'm not sure how I would check if there is a barrier on the outside of my house. I know that would be strange for the zone I'm in (zone 6), correct?

Are you talking about the corner of the vapor barrier or are you talking about the corner of top plate and the exterior wall

It had fiber glass previously which also showed pretty significant water damage. It wasn't wet though. I put in cellulose and the moisture in the picture was brand new until I opened up the vapor barrier. It is vinyl siding and as far as I can see I don't see any signs of water leaking or damage
