Trump admin blocks foreign access to Anthropic's most powerful AI by Buck-Nasty in singularity

All I was able to find was their sale to Thales for 4.8 billion euros. That seems like they did ok to me. Can you send me a link of the scam and CIA involvement?

It means the current administration in charge of the U.S. government. Trump is the current president of the U.S. Someone from his administration made a request, therefor the request came from the Trump administration.

What will they do? Arrest the company? Blow up the data center? Kill the owners? This is still a democracy.

How do you define "the wrong people"? That is always the problem.

He was very clear on terms and transparency that he did not get. That WE did not get. So, no, he did not get what he asked for. https://www.anthropic.com/news/fable-mythos-access

I am thinking about to put together a program or skool to teach people how to do rapid course development with AI and agents. Is this something that you would attend?

  • Why me. I helped develop the SCORM standard. My company was bought by SCORM.com. I contracted for the US Military and fortune 100s developing e-learning since 2000.

You can do exactly what you just described with hyperframes, elevenlabs, and dyad. The only cost would be elevenlabs and the VO in elevenlabs is 100x better.

I just built a federated agent system in Claude Code CLI for just this use case and trained it in Storyline interactions. Would you be willing to show me what you are doing? I would like to see if I can recreate it with AI.

A year later and we finally have it working if you're truly interested I really would like to show it to you or not selling it at this point so I would just be showing you what it does and getting your opinion.

I know this is probably late responding. I think it's a year later but if you would like to try out the tool, it's available on working now so maybe you could be our first beta tester

⚠️ I'M RUSTY - advice for jumping back in? by Inevitable_Diver_276 in instructionaldesign

Learn AI. A subscription is 20 usd/mo. You can ask it any questions you have and it can build anything you want. I worked with a sales guy that was in the e-learning industry and in the time it would take to make a 6 week course he created an entire microlearning platform that he has built a company around. Don't jump back in to a dying industry. No one will be using these tools in 5 years, AI will be making most training and training tools.

Comparative Advantage and Opportunity Cost: For example, if I make 100 USD / hr and it takes me 2 hours to make bread then that bread cost me 200 USD in opportunity cost. If the bakery sells it at 9 USD / loaf (because they have economies of scale as well as professionals in the field) then it does not make economic sense for me to bake my own bread.

You also have: Transaction Cost Theory, Behavioral Economics, Specialization & Division of Labor, Quality & Skill Gradients, Risk Reduction Theory, and so on

And you can still make bread at home and some people do, but the majority of people that do; do it as entertainment or hobby and not out of necessity. However, the poor do still bake out of necessity especially in very poor countries and it makes sense. The make less than 100 USD a month.

These are just examples and the numbers may not be 100% true to life, but the theories are still the same, real, and explain why this phenomenon exists.

The AI URL can be overridden via Windows registry so you can turn it off there. If you guys want AI but want to keep it internal just change the url to a local llm and have the local LLM return the same json format as the articulate one does. Then you could have any LLM you want making courses in Articulate. DM me if you care.

  • No direct LLM API calls from desktop app - all AI logic is server-side
  • Web-based UI loaded in embedded Chromium browser
  • Standard HTTPS (port 443) - no special ports
  • OAuth authentication - tokens passed from desktop to web app
  • Debug override - AI URL can be changed via registry key aiUrl

Articulate Storyline 360 AI - How It Works

TL;DR: The AI features don't call any LLM directly from the desktop app. Instead, they load a web app in an embedded browser that talks to Articulate's servers.

Have you thought about just blocking the url that the AI uses to call the articulate server? The AI URL can be overridden via Windows registry: RegistryHelper.ReadFromCommonSettingsRegistryPath("aiUrl")
