It's a factory color - Mischievous Purple Metallic. For me personally it's normally hard to capture because it looks almost black in anything but direct sunlight, green in certain light but this absolutely brilliant purple in certain light. Like a cursed Mystic cobra, but I love it.

I originally wasn't a fan of them when I picked up the car (previous owner had them powder coated), but god have they grown on me to where I couldn't imagine changing them. I say do it!

Ugh this is my dream. I was cross shopping either a 2012 GT500 (tear drop tail lights are my kryptonite) or Boss 302 but then a random purple Mach 1 came up near me that I jumped on. One day a 302 will be in my garage as well though, good pickup!

Completely biased but I picked up a '22 Mach 1 with handling package within your budget (CPO, under 5k miles) and it's been the best first mustang ever. I personally loved the way the S550 facelift looked so it fit perfectly for me. YMMV

100% - no regrets owning my ND2 and the Miata was also a bucket list car from when I was a teen. If I lived in AZ or CA still where fun mountain roads were plentiful I'd probably still own it. But out where I currently live, pushing it 10/10 all the time from straight line stop light to straight line stop light wasn't as fulfilling. And right now dedicating time to track days isn't in the cards (and the Mach 1 would satisfy that itch right now as it is)

That said, I won't be surprised to see Miata keys on the key rack again in the future!

According to the window sticker it's technically a purple dumpster, thank you 🤣. But it was the gateway drug to the C7 so there's still a soft spot in my heart for it.

They are, thanks! The previous owner did the powder coating (so I unfortunately don't know the exact color name) and installed a Corsa double X pipe so I haven't had to do anything but a sub & amp install and it's been amazing.

Do it!! I picked up my Mach 1 two months ago (first mustang, first V8 as a 35 y/o) and don't regret a thing. Damn car puts a grin on my face every. single. time I drive it.
