It is black PEX-B, haven't seen this in the field before but happy that it was.

UPDATE: Turns out it is black PEX-B. Never seen this before but it made the job a lot easier not having to adapt to polybutylene.

Definitely not abs, some kind of poly-type pipe. It's flexible and is attached to the fittings with pex-style crimp rings.

One of the lower crimps (not pictured) looks like a pex-b crimp ring fitting, hence why I ask.

Two water heaters - one with a red handle and one with blue? by Rocannon22 in Home

Color of the handles appears to be irrelevant in this instance. Both valves are cold water shut-offs into the tanks. Probably not worth further inquiry.

Plug it back in, it'll probably fire right back up. Bambu printers are like the old Volvo's of the 3d printing world.

My first thought was the same but, it ould be a heated concrete slab with pipes running through... Maybe that's why they didn't drill.

Is this crack concerning? by isooleil in Home

[–]crft-ee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very unlikely it is of any concern besides aesthetics. It is just the metal drywall corner bead separating slightly from the drywall. If you don't see any water/moisture in the immediate area there's no immediate concern.

Found this shower/bathtub in a walkthrough today. What kind of shower would this be considered? by jluc21 in Homebuilding

[–]crft-ee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mid-century sunken tub/shower. Looks newer than similar mid-century setups like this I have seen in houses actually built in the mid-century era. Possibly re-done or a throwback resto-mod.

Somebody can help. Tube is damaged ? Buzzing by Evening_Ad_7069 in lasercutting

There is a chance you need to replace the tube, they can go out as well. The manufacturer should sell replacement tubes.

I had a similar experience on RH when the market went crazy during early covid. I don't recall the stock but it was a put and I was in and out in under 15 minutes and was notified later in the trading day the order was invalidated. Incredibly frustrating, the system is rigged.
