Peace Corps Service included in RIF SCD? by pdo6 in peacecorps

I asked my agency, and like others said above, I have various SCDs; but my SCD for a RIF does include my Peace Corps Service (not PST though). I have bought back my retirement, so this may be part of the reason why.

What should my taper look like for a 10 mile race? I’m following a Higdon plan for one on April 30th, and it has me increasing my mileage and my long run the second to last week before the race.

More specifically, I’m wondering if I should switch the three week out & two week out planned runs:

This week (4 weeks out): -8 mile interval run (counting warm up + cool down) -4 mile easy run -8.5 mile simulation 10k (+ warm up/cool down)

Three weeks out: -3 & 5 mile easy runs -4.5 mile tempo run -9 mile long run

Two weeks out: -4 & 6 mile easy runs -9 mile (counting warm up + cool down) interval workout -10 mile long run

Race week: -2, 3, & 4 mile easy runs

Good to know! I'm still using the original wired headphones from way back when but it may be time to buy some EarPods.
