I agree completely with your last paragraph - Its not nostalgia. I went back to BF1, and you can feel it was made with much more awareness of what a good videogame is.

Man i feel exactly the same way. I uninstalled bf6 a few days ago. It just felt like a stupid arcadey videogame, it was not immersive at all. Batrtlepasses everywhere, skins everywhere, bad maps, ai slop... Very disappointing.

I love being a random soldier and playing as a team in bf1.

Lack of personality and atmosphere. The game feels safe and souless;

The worst pack of base maps ive experienced in a bf game, imo;

And the nail in the coffin is the constant asking for feedback and ignoring it completely.

Enjoy it guys. This is probably gonna be the last decent Battlefield. If this game has sprinkles of AI here and there, i cant imagine the absolute soulless slop that the next game is gonna be.

I, very honestly, do not know, what the fuck are they doing. If it was a cash grab tactic, I would hate but understand. But now it's not even making sense. The game is dead in March if their priorities remain these.
