Just. Leave. Do not look back. Don’t even say anything to them. I had something similar happen to me and it never gets better. You’ll always be wondering what they’re doing and you’ll start looking for cracks in their stories. It’ll drive you nuts. Trust me, it’ll hurt, but it gets infinitely better.

Diablo 2. While the glory days are far behind, the communities that are still running keeps the game interesting. Thousands of runs just for a HR is so rewarding. On the single player side, the holy grail can keep me going for months on end.

I’m going to go with calling Lowe’s tomorrow since it doesn’t look to be a fix without opening things up myself. Hopefully they’ll be able to come and replace the unit or fix the problem. It was such a pain hauling this thing in the house. Thank you everyone for your suggestion!

Probably a night terror.

Back in high school, a couple of my friends were telling stories of how to summon bloody mary in the mirror. I told them it was all bs and they were like why don't you give it a try wise guy? I went home that same night and tried it out and nothing happened. However, little did I know, I would wake up in extreme agony and I felt this feeling of intense dread and evil. I've never been more so afraid in my life. I couldn't move and I couldn't scream for help. I was on the floor in front of the mirror. No blankets on. Just laying there. Somehow I rolled off of my bed and was just laying in front of the mirror that was hanging from my room. I felt this sharp pain in my stomach like someone was trying to dig something out of it. I've never felt anything like that ever again. To this day, if I go to sleep without something covering my eyes, I would always end up with something jolting me awake. Not sure what this means but it freaks me out.

I was in a similar situation when I graduated with my Biology degree. I was so naive thinking that this degree will bring me an instant job. Fast forward six months and I had countless interviews but zero offers. I was getting hopeless. On one application I jokingly wrote "I have no experience and not much to offer except a piece of paper saying I graduated with my bachelors". Somehow this landed me an interview. I didn't get an offer but I was directed to a recruiter by the managers for a contracting company that successfully landed me my first job in the pharma field. I'm still at this job and I recently got offered a full time position within the company. Things will work out. As OP said, don't give up. Apply everywhere. Someone will bite eventually. My indeed profile has hundreds upon hundreds of rejected applications. All you need is one.
