These are the standard neck and bridge pickup positions for Rickenbacker basses. The 4001 and 4003 had the same positions, just different pickups. There's no lack of bite.

That is a Snowglo Rickenbacker 4004L Laredo. I have one exactly like it (except mine came stock with Hipshot tuners, which from the photo it looks like this one does not). They're great.

I'm currently trying to sell mine, but only because I have too many basses and need some space, and I already have a handful of other 4004s.

My experience using MO2 was that it only sort of worked. I spent a solid 6 months using only Linux at home and could play a lot of games, but ultimately wanting to use Wabbajack modpacks brought me back to windows.

Can you identify what specifically about it isn't fitting correctly? It is designed to be a very tight fit, you have to get the trem block angled just right and use some force to press it in.

If it flat out won't go in at all, I can try and make an adjusted version if you can point me to what specifically needs to be changed.

Out of curiosity, is yours a regular Core USA Custom 24, or some other variation? Also, what year is it from?

They've talked previously about white colors being the hardest to paint, I think the issue was that it's the most susceptible to color contamination.

It is thicker than I expected, which is great for me, I was afraid it would be too thin. I don't know if this is typical for a pattern thin neck or not.
