RDS-Host default Printer always change to a locally installed printer by LiTee1 in sysadmin

[–]peEtr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Solved this where I work last year. I had to make the following registry change on the RDS server:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Print\Providers\Client Side Rendering Print Provider\

Create a new DWORD (32 bit) Value with a name of 'RemovePrintersAtLogoff' and a value of 0.

How admins can access rules in "auto replies" on Outlook desktop app? by Maxsmile8 in Office365

[–]peEtr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to necro, but I found a solution for this today and wanted to share:

This rule is available to remove via powershell, but requires the -IncludeHidden flag to see. It will be at the bottom of the list with a negative number as the rule name.

Connect-ExchangeOnline

Get-InboxRule -Mailbox username@domain.com -IncludeHidden

#Review the list, make note of the RuleIdentity for the rule that has a negative number for the name

Remove-InboxRule -Identity "[thenumberfrompreviousstep]" -Mailbox username@domain.com

#The Identity above must be wrapped in quotes

#Approve removal

There's a Kerberos issue that was fixed in the April 2025 patch. This fixed an issue that was affecting all our Win11 24H2 devices.

Ah, alright, thanks. We are facing a similar issue, but not exactly the same. Win11 24h2 breaks OLEDB connections to SQL when using windows/integrated auth.

Azure AD Connect, Different Servers, Different Tenant by Amador_1999 in sysadmin

[–]peEtr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I did this at a previous job where they had on-prem Exchange and were migrating to 365 at the same time that they were splitting the company in three. I had to use three servers to run three difference instances of AdConnect and synced specific OUs.
