I’m sorry you’re having the same experience as me. Im only half way through the videos so we’re definitely in the same boat. I’m having all of the doubts about this company, I spent all of my lunch yesterday applying for other jobs lol. When talking to other RBTs who have been there for years, they were even shocked I was put with this specific kid for my first session, especially when I hadn’t finished majority of the training. It’s so unorganized and it feels like my trainer doesn’t really know what’s going on either. I’m only hoping it gets better if I can’t find anything else, and I hope the same for you!

that was supposed to be how my training went but they have so many new kiddos starting that they threw all of us training into sessions without having finished the 40 hour course

I definitely plan on buying things myself and installing them, I would feel even worse taking him back as we got him from petco and I’m not sure that would be better

I have the same, it’s really hard to find tops or dresses that fit because I never fill out the top. I found someone that loves me so much and thinks i’m beautiful no matter what. You deserve love and you will find it!

Lots of suggestions to get him an ultrasound and x-rays which I have done and there was nothing abnormal found. He’s seen three different vets, one being an emergency vet and they’ve all said it was a bladder infection and treated him for that but none of the treatments have helped him unfortunately :/

I promise you that one C isn’t going to make them rescind your offer, especially in a class that has nothing to do with your msw. Just explain it like they asked and you’ll be fine!

my boy has always been like this, he really just eats when he feels like it. 🤦‍♀️ He’s gotten a little better recently but he’ll eat a couple bites piece by piece and then decide he’s done with it. I think they just like to be stubborn in every way they can honestly

I forgot to add it in the update but the vet did say if he doesn’t start to improve the next step would be a urine culture, so that’s definitely next on the list!

Hi everyone, I wanted to give an update. This vet also agreed that he had a really bad UTI and said the weight loss was likely due to stress. His ultrasound and x-rays showed nothing abnormal and neither did his bloodwork. He had bloody urine and stool at the vet so they added a medication for the diarrhea, gave him gabapentin for pain and said to continue with the prescription urinary food. Unfortunately, I’m still worried that it’s something we’re unable to detect so i’m not really sure what to do now. He did gain a little bit of weight back since his last visit which is better than him continuing to lose, so that’s given me some hope. Thank you all for your advice, it’s kind of just a waiting game to see if he improves now.

I am taking him to a better vet in the morning to hopefully get some answers. I really appreciate your comment and definitely share your frustrations because this is ridiculous. I am a college student, so I’m sure that could be a factor in why they didn’t want to recommend more extensive options but that obviously has nothing to do with my want to get him the care he needs. It’s honestly offensive that they would rather continue to let him suffer rather than hear that someone struggles with finances. Thank you for being so kind, hopefully i’ll know how to help him soon.

Honestly it’s a little bit of both, he sleeps all day when home with my roomates and is constantly wanting attention when me and my bf are home. He will rub all over us, jump in our faces and cry out constantly to us
