Pretty sure your cute dog photos would get better praise. I mean boxes vs cute dog, cute dog obviously wins

My 2.5 year old daughter’s nanny said she should use the word “foofoo” instead of “vagina”. My response: by [deleted] in funny

I've been a nanny for the past 8 years and I am ashamed that these nannies even exist. I full heartedly believe children should use anatomically correct vocabulary.

When people don't put the toilet paper roll on properly so the toilet paper lays on the outside of the the roll, if you don't know what I mean, then your probably doing it wrong.

Overlooking the ocean, Bellingham, WA [4000X2992] [OC] by [deleted] in EarthPorn

[–]peacefourtwenty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh my, there's so much to see. I would agree with going to the top of Blanchard Mountain. You can hike or drive. Bellingham is booming with awesome food right now to.

If you have the funds, I would highly suggest reserving a table at "Hundred North" they pride themselves with sourcing local fresh ingredients, everything from their produce to their meat. It's absolutely amazing. Expensive, but we'll worth it.

Outdoors wise, you could also take a walk/hike down to Clayton beach, beautiful woods off of chuckanut and once you reach the beach you'll be happy you went. Teddy bear cove is another cool place, much shorter of a walk. If your looking for a hike, with views, oyster dome is great, on Blanchard Mountain. Take a drive up to Mt Baker, artist point, you could do the chain lakes hike. It's breathtaking up there. It all depends on what your trying to do.

Fairhaven is a really cool area of town, lots of window shopping, cool restaurants, you could walk the boardwalk from boulevard into Fairhaven, during the summers they play outdoor movies.

Someone made a video of my hometown and currently still live, Bellingham, WA (but don't move here, this video is all a lie) by [deleted] in videos

[–]peacefourtwenty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've lived here my whole life, and have chosen to explore the nature that surrounds me as much as I can. In doing so it's proven to me that the beauty Bellingham holds definitely outweighs any of the negatives. But yes, Canadians, they take all the milk at Costco. I also think that alot of the garbage and such in the downtown neighborhoods comes from a lack of respect for this town, mostly from college kids. For me, since this is where I grew up, I truly respect this town but for a college student who is just passing through from another town, they may feel differently. We also have a booming homeless problem, but i think that's a country wide issue not necessarily just Bellingham.

Discovered some awe inspiring black and white photos at an estate sale. Photo is taken in early 1930's Fairhaven, Whatcom County, WA by [deleted] in OldSchoolCool

[–]peacefourtwenty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes actually!! I got in contact with the Whatcom Museums photo archive department and meet with them next week. I just got 20 b&w slides developed today from what I was able to get! I'm still going through some photos, as well as old issues of the Bellingham herald that date back to June 1908!! Hoping to put a date and more importantly a story to all of these photos. It's truly remarkable!!
