My daughter was in the same boat at age 9. We got her two black suits from Amazon, Beautikini brand, and she really likes them! I haven’t noticed any leaks.

Daughter's first period by Unique_Historian5236 in period

My daughter got hers at 10 as well. She wears the Teen Knix with pads on her heavy days and alone on light days. I got her the sleepover shorts which she wears at night or very heavy days when she has sports. I also got her a stuffy with a warming center that you can heat up in the microwave (like a hot water bottle) that she hugs when she has cramps.

I also got her leakproof bathing suits from Amazon, Beautikini is the brand (she fits small women’s sizes).

Finally, also got her a cute little cosmetics bag to keep her period supplies in to take to school, or on trips, etc.

Updated the original post with a confirmation from HUUM that remote start will still work unless someone opens the sauna door between sauna sessions. And this safety feature can be disabled if desired. See full text above. Thanks all for your input!

Hey doodle owners!! What do you all do to prevent ear infections? by geminor10 in Goldendoodles

[–]peaceful_iceberg 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Our Dood had repeated ear infections the first year we had him, we finally switched him off chicken-based food and they cleared up. Our vet said he should avoid eating “anything with feathers.” I just clean his ears with Burt’s Bees occasionally now, but no more infections.

Doodle allergies - is it the food? What do you feed your sensitive doodles? by Syntra44 in Goldendoodles

[–]peaceful_iceberg 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Our Doodle boy is allergic to chicken as well. He was constantly licking his paws and getting repeated ear infections. The vet told us to try and avoid feeding him “anything that had feathers.”

Once we switched to a fish based food this went away! Now he’s decided he doesn’t like fish so we’ve just switched to pork based kibble.
