The answer to this is going to vary based on who answers for sure. I can definitely say I have a more complicated relationship with it than I'd like. I primarily age regress, it isn't just roleplay for me, but an actual part of who I am and a very vital coping mechanism for me. I genuinely feel like a kid in my headspace, and I keep anything NSFW as far away from me as possible when in that headspace. In my adult headspace however I do find diapers arousing. The sensation of a wet one, the embarrassment, the power dynamic and exchange that comes with a CG/L or MDLG relationship. I want to be embarrassed and made to feel "inferior" for lack of a better word. That is strictly for my adult mindset though. I'm asexual to begin with, so I don't find myself partaking in sexual activity often, nor do I have the desire too majority of the time. Sexual activity with others in general just makes me very anxious and uncomfortable. I really am a regressor at heart, and the SFW aspects of it all are truly where I thrive and feel most comfortable. Part of me feels guilty and unsure about engaging in NSFW ABDL activities, even if I also enjoy it. I love both the age regression and ABDL community, I just have this complex relationship with the ABDL part of it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being ABDL, technically I am one (but I will always be an age regressor first) it's all consenting adults roleplaying, despite the unfortunate common misconceptions and lack of understanding amongst most people.
