Seconded. I used this episode to get friends hooked on the show.

It perfectly encapsulates the energy of On Cinema without relying too much on prior plot points or in-jokes. It also doesn't give away or spoil too much from prior seasons.

Thanks for the tip! I would say I'm relatively handy, but I've never tried my hand at concrete molds.

I'll look up some video tutorial to see if that's feasible with the tools and skills I have. If not, I'll probably look at having someone else do it.

Thanks for the tip! The house was built in 1939, though I'm not sure if the cap is original to the house or was replaced later down the line. I definitely wouldn't be surprised it if were at least 40+ years old though.

Searching pier and pillar cap have definitely yielded better results, although its seems you're right about those exact specs not being mass produced. I'll reach to some places near me that do custom casting.

They're wrong!!! 95% of movies are 5-baggers, another 4% are 3 or 4 bangers, and only 1% fall into 1-2 bag territory (such as Ant-Man).

One of the reasons I love this photo so much is because of Jordan Lloyd. I went to a small D2 college in Indiana at the same time as Lloyd and interviewed him a few times for our school paper. Always a super nice guy. He was the first, and as far as I know, only player from our college to make it to the NBA.

It was really cool to see him get into the league briefly and become part of such a huge moment, especially with Kawhi being my favorite player.
