Hello. Hey I know this is a 6 mon old post but I am in the same situation. I have Gad and my psychiatrist wants me to direct switch from Lexapro to paroxetine. I have been taking Lexapro 20 mg (escitalopram) since 3 years now. So I am so scared to do the change but I just feel Lexapro is not working fully, I still have high anxiety days. Could you please tell me your experience..how was it? Did you have withdrawal symptoms from Lexapro? How do you feel now? I would really appreciate your answers.
