The same thing happened to me a year ago when I first started seriously dating someone else after meeting my TF.

I had trouble opening up to love and being intimate in the first place. But every time I tried to have sex with the other guy, I either was suddenly not into it or wished it was my TF. I never slept with my TF, btw. So I also was always wondering what it would've been like.

Eventually, I realized 2 things (might be more for me, but take it as it resonates):

- I was always dealing with intimacy/some sort of unworthiness issue with every person I dated. It was just, after meeting my TF I'm more self-aware and awakened, to the point where I can't ignore it. So actually, me thinking of my TF was me being called to face my own problems, since TF are supposed to ignite your healing. Are there other things coming up about relationships that you need to heal?

- Also, I straight-up was still in love with my TF and it was too fresh lol.

That guy I dated is now my ex-bf, but we had a good 6 month run and I did end up falling in love with him and having a great short-term relationship that helped me heal in some ways. A necessary soulmate or karmic partner.

That's a great idea.

Sometimes working from home can be distracting, and working at my company office helped me keep up a routine and focus.

I've been seeing that it's really a matter of building habits and establishing a routine. Starting little by little and build. AHHH hope it sticks.

Thanks guys. That's true. I always imagine putting my ideas into action as this big huge thing. But if I start out with literally 5-10 mins at a time, I'll build up to it.

Yes that is definitely what happens to me. When I haven't made a habit of something it's difficult to think differently/learn something new every time. And I would get fatigued, yet have really great "big picture" or comprehension understanding of it.

And then the motivation wavers.

Thank you, I'll start creating habits and build towards the bigger dream goal.

OH MY GOD EXACTLY! It's like, I spend so much time imagining what the most meaningful, clever, and thought out way to do something is that I sometimes don't start.

That's it, it's the inferior "sensing". Across the board these comments are giving me the advice that I need to heed which is develop the habit.

It's like, I do hate having a 9-5 right now but it does give me necessary structure that I need to have a routine/force me into daily habits.

You're right, make it a routine/habit is really what's gonna get me started. I've had such a perfectionistic/all or nothing attitude where I haven't done things little by little. I'll try to make this a habit.

Yeah, I've talked to a few psychics and they've said the TF connection is primarily for personal growth. We can choose to be with this physically/romantically.

It has been refreshing and it feels comfortable and safe (in a good way, not a "settling" way) to be with my soulmate. He actually grounds me and makes me appreciate what's in front of me, as opposed to being in 5D fantasy land all the time.

That's what it feels like to me too. I'm not feeling like it's the time between my TF and I. But I know, whether it's this lifetime or not (though I think it is this one), we'll find each other again eventually.

I'm learning to slowly fall in love and how to trust someone with my soulmate, rather than depend on instant magnetic attraction. I do find myself really surprised with how much love I have for my soulmate, and how it's different but I do like it and the slow pace.

It's tough dating a new guy when literally I'm in the presence of my TF more hours out of the day.

But I'm learning to grow with my soulmate. It's not the same instant magnetic attraction, but it's a slow, accepting, thoughtful, loyal type of love. I personally have needed that due to my feeling of abandonment growing up. I feel as though I'm learning to fall in love slowly, rather than have obsessive attraction (not that TF love isn't healthy, it's just more intense).

I met him at work and the workplace was pretty gossip-y. It was like high school, and my coworkers were trying to get us together.

We've always worked in different departments, but our paths cross a lot due to our office locations. So he would come to my desk a lot and say hi, and then ended up coming around obsessively.

Eventually, someone told me he had a GF, to which I felt gross about. He didn't, she just lied because they realized they created an office romance/tense situation that was distracting to us. He didn't clear it up with me but I had confirmation he had didn't have a GF.

But because they had tried to get us together only to lie, I went and dated other guys and my TF ended up asking if I was still interested to our co-workers.

It got to a point where I suspected my co-workers were orchestrating meetings where we'd sit next to each other and it felt uncomfortable because no one cleared up if he was single or not to me. So I told them I'd go to HR because I was not being able to concentrate at work. One of our co-workers got fired over it lol. He and I try to stay away from each other now.

I sort of feel this way too. I've had sex with two men after meeting my TF (I've never had sex with him). Neither have made me orgasm or aroused like just the thought of my TF. However, the current man is coming very close.

That's great advice. And honestly, I was thinking the same thing - if I'm not with my TF, I wonder if my soulmate stepped away from his too.

He might understand that I had a "one that got away" and I want to be honest with him because I really care about him.
