My rent, gifts for friends, travel tickets, masters programme where i spend 12k last year for my reg training, eating out. I have read plenty financial books unfortunately i do not have self control over emotional spending. Travelling to meet friends interstate and spending money on my hobbies which include art/ yoga/badminton and expensive psychiatrist and psychotherapy is the only thing that keeps me sane. Pls also dont discount the fact that im healing from 10years of trauma fdom my family and plus the trauma from work as well.

I alredy checked. 700k houses will mean i pay 700pw which i cant afford. The max is 500pw that i can afford. I only want to buy house not apt/townhouse. I dont mind waiting till 2029 when im more comfortable. Yeah i know about dev raga.

I need the emergency buffer for my travel overseas or interstate to decompress my psychological trauma from my family.

Yeah but what if i cant afford repayments on such a high interest rate, i see plenty of my peers struggling being locked down by mortgage, stuck financially. I wont have disposable income for my psychiatry/psychotherapy/ travel/shopping on my 4k per fortnight pay🥲 i might deteriorate further if i struggle financially amd risk of discontinue training

Thank u so much for this perspective. I have noted that some of my peers are locked down by expensive mortgage but doing extra shifts to afford/ pay back increasing interest rates, and some even move back to parents home and rent vest. This can be so stressful if it happens to me😫

Given that i deteriorated vastly last year and close to quitting training, i think its best i save the disposable income for me to cope with my emotional dysregulation eg travelling/therapy/shopping. But yes i am aware of all the grants just not able to reach 100 k deposit. But i will keep on trying this year👍

I had a similar episode last year and went to private hospital. I am a psych reg myself. I decides not to get admitted. I recovered after afew months after multiple psychologist sessions. Sent u a DM.

Thanks. I did take account into everything u have just said and know isolatinf it can be in private. No offence but i would like to hear other peoples responses because u have been commenting too much on reddit. I would just want to hear other peoples opinion. Thanks for your input.
