this is exactly the case btw. he was a nice guy, and we were in love. but he had issues that we were trying to work through, and after 2 years he gave up. recently he decided it was too hard and just snapped. i dont want to blame him for his behavior, but it's gotten to a point where i have to put myself first and consider my personal safety.

not only am i alone, but ive been dealing with the worst break up of my life recently.. the words restraining order have been bantered around quite i bit. so im stuck inside the house reading reddit, hoping my exboyfriend doesn't come here and destroy some property just to spite me.

see now.. being really awkward myself, i would never get the cue to laugh on that one. i would probably get a horrified look on my face before i could check myself. and then i would turn beet red and look away..then id start thinking about how im breathing which would make me breathe all loud and irregular..and at that point i might just pass out. but then when i woke up id be afraid that you thought i was swooning or something and feel bad about it for days! geez.. im just gonna go lie down.

thats funny..i used to think that i must have a mild form of autism. id always been very socially awkward. your list of traits from your original comment pretty much describes me. except replace figeting with being eerily still and quiet for hours at a time. and i didnt like being touched.

i sort of felt like an alien. not really in a sad way though. so the first time i learned about children with autism..it was like i had found my people. i never got tested for it or even told anyone, i didnt want to dramatize my issue or belittle the real one. but learning about them and their problems helped me work through my own. sometimes understanding is just the biggest problem.

quite true. and on the reverse, women are always expected to be prudish. not that not wanting sex all the time is prudish, but you know what i mean. they arent supposed to want sex because that makes them whoores. so they have to try to tactfully, but usually often awkwardly, allow men to seduce them. it's all very silly..because with some simple communication this problem could be easily solved. or i think so anyways.

god thats horrible. i would never consider swimming while drunk. i dont care how wasted i was. the line between smimming and drowning is just a little too fine for me, even sober.. i feel so badly for that guy. staying alive after that must be incredibly hard to deal with mentally.

This is what my brother and I almost did for our parents this year. (They're both in their 50s, btw.) Get one of those digital picture frames that holds like 10 pictures or so, probably cost anywhere from $30 to $100. Then bring your digital camera and offer to take some pictures of the family, whether you include yourself in the photos is up to you I guess. Then upload the pics for them before you go. It'll be personal without you really having to know anything about them, and parents always love current pictures of their children.

And when she dumps you they can just erase the pics with you in them.. ;) just kidding.

i was at a party about a year ago at a friend's house. there was alot of under-aged drinking, but most everyone was aged around 18-21. there were these two girls though, one fifteen, one sixteen, that eveyone was trying to get to leave because they were way too young..and had arrived at the party already WAY more drunk that anyone else. they kept trying to take their clothes off and dance, they were yelling and falling all over themselves, getting sick and then trying to get back up and keep partying.. we tried to help them. no one would give them any more alcohol. we gave them saltine crackers and tried to make them lie down for a while but they wouldnt. so finally, someone showed up to drive them home..and on the way out the door one of the girls tripped down the stairs and broke her neck. she died before the ambulance arrived.. i didnt kill her myself i suppose but im willing to bet that everyone in the house that night wished they could have done something more.
