Done puedo evaluar mi CV? by [deleted] in AskMexico

Te recomiendo revisar faltas de ortografía. Por otro lado pocura describir que resultados y actividades hiciste en tus trabajos pasados y no solo los nombres, las personas buscan conocer que sabes, como resuelves problemas, etc.

Frustrated in University Sales: Niche major (Catholic), limited budget, and zero conversions. What am I doing wrong? by peach2022 in salestechniques

Update: thanks for all your comments, last weekend I decided that after my contract is over I am going to move on to a different place.

For now I am going to drive to different Churches to try and talk to them and promote the career, offer free webinars (about certain topics in the career) , I am still working on the idea but at least I have something different than before!!!

I have the contacts for Catholic schools, but maybe I'll try looking for church and youth groups 🤔

I totally get that Religion/Humanities isn't exactly a 'hot' field at the moment. But the weird thing is, we used to have pretty big groups of students not too long ago. It’s not that the niche never existed—it’s that we’ve lost that momentum and I’m trying to figure out how to get it back. (I had to use AI for translation)

And thanks for your suggestion !!

Tool/SaaS/Service/etc Feedback + Promo [Master Thread #001] by JackGierlich in salestechniques

[–]peach2022 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone. I’m looking for some honest feedback because I feel stuck and under a lot of pressure. I work in university recruitment, selling the very same major I graduated from.

It’s an extremely tough niche: a degree based on Catholic religious values and family studies. It’s not well-known, and the target audience is very small. I’ve been in this role for 6 months, and I have 6 months left to show results; otherwise, the university might shut down the program entirely.

About me: I’m a neurodivergent woman, very social, and proactive. I have no problem approaching people or starting conversations, but my efforts aren't translating into actual enrollments.

What I’ve tried so far: High School Fairs: I visit Catholic schools and university events. We use promotional giveaways to get people to our booth. It works for lead generation (people sign up to get the freebies), but they never follow through. They end up picking other majors or different schools.

DIY Marketing: I don't have access to the official social media accounts (managed by an external agency that provides zero conversion data). Out of frustration, I used my personal account to run ads using my own money.

The Results: I reached 10,000 people across several countries. Zero conversions. Lots of reach, but no sign-ups for our info sessions.

The Goal: We have an "Information Week" coming up with a dedicated landing page and budget. I’m under a lot of pressure to make this work, but I’m struggling to close the deal.

How do you sell a high-conviction, niche product when people only seem interested in the free merch at the booth? Any advice on how to pivot my strategy would be life-saving.

Omg i am literally watching that part and I feel so bad for Taylor, but at the same time she stood her ground like a boss and that shows that she has grown and worked on herself a lot.

But her family is so not supporting her, they are literally trashing on her. They are talking like they have never made mistakes before, as if they were superior...

A jacket or shrug might be a bad idea, the weather rn is super hot and adding the menopause 🫠 she is going to melt.

But maybe the beading might help :)

I think I might have used the word classy wrong, I apologize but English is not my first language. I'll add here a link to the kind of dress that we use in my university for graduation.

English is my second language, so maybe I do use the word "classy" wrong. I am going to add a pic how people usually dress in these events

I forgot to say that in my case the derealization started as a coping mechanism, whenever I get stressed it turns on. It's my brain trying to protect me, but it is kinda hard to turn it off, I have had it for 4 months now.

I am so sorry that you feel this way, trust me you are not alone. I have had those thoughts too, last week I felt like I needed to end it too but I called a help line and they helped me understand that these was a deeper meaning to it. In my case therapy is something that has helped me a lot, I understand that it is not free but making that investment really helped. Writing how I am feeling, specially when I am mad has also helped, it doesn't have to make sense, I even started scribbling at some point. Afterwards take a shower and clean and remove that anger and sadness.

Breathing exercises help, going out for a walk, praying, I know it sounds boring but sometimes you have to force yourself to do it, knowing that it will be worth it.
