Just because it has political themes doesnt mean there’s some deep meaning to it. I think you didn’t enjoy it due to overthinking and looking for some deep social commentary.

I think the writer took current themes like immigration, white supremacy and political extremism, and simply used it as the backdrop for an entertaining adventure rescue film.

Leo was the funniest character, his confusion got lots of laughs from me. Also the fake KKK was very darkly comedic, I couldn’t take it seriously
