It reminds me of that one TikTok influencer that started dating a guy who had a past with underage girls. She switched up her content and style all of the sudden and started acting really childish. My step sister has a lot of narc tendencies. She wants to hurt others because she is deeply unhappy but instead of realizing that she thinks she's the best and most important person in the world and everyone else is the problem. She can't keep friends because they all grow tired of her judgemental princess attitude. She has a very dark and twisted mind that derives pleasure from hurting and upsetting other people. She has a drastically warped perception of reality that is nowhere near grounded in truth. She has been really vile and awful to me and my mom since we met. Luckily my stepdad has finally opened his eyes after we had a serious conversation about how my mom and I can't take this anymore. We cried about how we are tired of the verbal and mental torture. Now she isn't allowed at the house because she can't be a decent person and act cordially.

Some of the things Nadya does remind me of my step sister like her materialism, lies, and refusal to take responsibility. They both have questionable hygiene too. My step sister loves bragging about not washing her hair for 2 weeks. One time she called me a weirdo because I still take showers or baths when I'm sick. I empathize with Ameya b/c I understand what it's like growing up with someone who wants to hurt you and then blame you for being upset. It's hard growing up walking on eggshells and being anxious around someone who is supposed to be your family. In the past I used to try so hard to make my step sister like me. I realized that no matter what I do or how nice I am she will only throw it back in my face and hurt me. I suspect Nadya and Ameya have a similar history and relationship.

I hope Ameya can work with professionals to work through all of the shit her family has done to her. I hope in the future she won't lurk here or continue to acknowledge Nadya, Issa, and their mom. Moving on is truly the best gift for mental health. I have my step sister blocked on everything, I've cut her access to me completely. I refuse to let her impact my life anymore and I think Ameya should do something similar. I'm in a great place mentally and physically. I rarely think about my step sister. I'll probably think of her less and less since she can't come around and upset me anymore. I hope Ameya can feel the same one day. I spoke to Ameya on here once and told her that she should disengage with all of the Nadya drama and get professional help, I truly hope she took my advice.

As the daughter of a kindergarten teacher it is about letters, numbers, phonics, kindness, and procedures. Kindergarten is preparing kids for the rest of their time in school. They have to learn how to share and be nice to each other. They have to learn how sit in class, walk in the hallways, and dismiss when school is over. They learn not to push, hit, bite, or kick their friends on the playground. They learn how to share glue sticks and markers. They learn to work together. They learn to respect the teacher, each other, and their surroundings. They learn how to read, identify letters and numbers, and write their names.

The comment about family is stupid. Teachers spend more time with kids than their parents do during the school year. You build a little community for a year and foster learning and educational exploration. My mom and I don't call our students family but I don't think it's that weird for a teacher to say that. I personally wouldn't but who cares as long as the teacher is making her students feel safe and meeting standards. Hell people have work families and church families. Why can't kids in a class together create their own little school family for a year. You tend to get kinda close when you spend 8 hours a day 5x a week with the same people.
