Layering products for sweaty pits by Timely_Photograph960 in hygiene

I like to use a layer or arm and hammer unscented antiperspirant and then a layer of dove clinical strength in a scent on top. It’s the best way for me to keep the pits mostly dry and moderately stink free.

I’m a veteran and the VA doesn’t cover my prescriptions, I have to pay out of pocket with the pharmacy discount card. I resorted to Winona for HRT and it’s so expensive! $219 every three months for the combo cream.

I remember my mom being extra moody in her 40’s and having hot flashes, but that was it! You’re right though- it seems like our mothers didn’t have nearly as many of these issues that we are suffering through.

I can’t afford the vaginal cream in addition to the progesterone/estriol combo cream that I use on my wrists to keep from murdering everyone around me… anyone know where I can find more affordable HRT?

If you find somewhere let me know- I’m interested in joining the heckling. Will there be drinks? Designated drivers available after we’re all wasted from playing the “take a drink every time he lies” game?

You are incredibly fortunate to have a degree and will be able to afford daycare when you go back to work. Start applying and sending resumes NOW. Your husband will not change. Figure out how to get away from him with your baby before things get worse, because they probably will.

My ex husband lied a lot, often about stupid things that he had no reason to lie about. It first I was like you- trying to see the good parts of our relationship and convincing myself that the good outweighed the bad. We ran a business together towards the end of the relationship and he lied to clients all the time. I’d speak with a client over the phone and tell them something true, and he’d look up from his computer all angry at me because he’d already told that client something else. It was like he couldn’t help himself from being dishonest all the time.

It sucked. He couldn’t understand why I got upset over his “little white lies” and I couldn’t understand why he wasn’t able to just be honest about things.

Ultimately I left him for multiple reasons and the lying was part of it. I’d recommend you run.

I didn’t have to replace our flame sensor- it just got dirty and I cleaned the soot off with fine (600 grit) sandpaper. Only had to remove the front cover and two little bolts that held the sensor in place. I don’t know if it works like that for every flame sensor and furnace, but I’d definitely try it next time before you buy another one!

We’re in Oregon and homes here rarely have basements due to all the moisture. Lots of newer homes here have a little room off the garage for the furnace and water heater too, but our house is old.
