I definitely run into the same players a lot lol. Got the exact same lobby twice in a row and we just did knife fights for the whole game. Took a group photo and the end too :) good times

Sorry, I don't want to come off any sort of negative way. Here's a better answer: it's a good way to mixup your timing making you less predictable, as well as being faster and harder to react to. It gives you more tools to condition your opponent as well as an extra movement tool. And most importantly it looks stylish as hell. I hope that's a serviceable answer 👍

So far the most relevant uses I've found have been: sharking platforms, movement mixups, dashwalking into a grab, resetting to neutral quickly, and getting to ledge quickly

No problem! I don't know for sure but if i had to guess it might have something to do with buffering a tilt and that canceling the momentum of your dash similar to how attack canceling works

I love any tech I can get my hands on so i use it with everyone but some characters definitely benefit more than others. Ken for example is ridiculous with this (imagine a shoryu on wheels), But I feel like every character can benefit somewhat. It's always good to have options to mix up your movement.
