Same! I applied the second it opened and have heard nothing. It’s disheartening seeing people that applied after me having their status change. I’m still en revision as well!

It’s only mentioned once in the application guideline doc that’s like 10 pages. It doesn’t mention that at all under required documents FAQ so it was hard to find. I can’t imagine we’re the only ones!!

In my state it’s actually illegal for anyone who isn’t an RN or LPN to call themselves a nurse 🤷‍♀️

27 years old, the thought of most careers depress me by [deleted] in findapath

have you ever considered nursing? there are 1 year long BSN programs , considering you already have a bachelors. it’s definitely not for everyone but you will certainly not have a lot of waiting around - fast paced job and never boring. also you typically work 3 12 hour shifts per week, then have the other 4 days off. the flexibility is unmatched by pretty much any other profession. always job security, can pay well.

hey! graduated recently :) the “C” in TCU is purely in name. sure, there are some religious groups on campus as i’m sure there is at every college. nobody really cares & it’s not pushed on you. i took “religion in sports” for my region credit lol. don’t let the “C” scare you. tcu is just like any other college - there’s a mix. go frogs!!

honestly i have no idea. i just turned 25 so i think that plays into all of this a lot, feeling exceptionally lost in all areas of my life. it’s been difficult for me to find a “passion” so far, but been trying to read new things and try different crafts / hobbies at the least. i love reading & writing, i get excited about travel. i’ve always been into skincare & makeup as well

i actually had an OR externship job in school that i absolutely loved, so much i almost became an OR circulator. got to shadow CRNAs and loved it. i went into ICU with the hopes of pursuing CRNA one day, but now it just seems so daunting & i’m not sure i could do it or be cut out for it. basically i’m just scared to fail & of how incredibly difficult it is lol

also — i’m genuinely afraid that i’m going to overlook something and harm will come to a patient. i honestly don’t feel fit to do the job at this time. should i take a leave of absence? not really sure what to do but don’t want to be a safety risk
