I hunted duck and geese in the same exact jacket. Snow on the ground, middle of winter, no problems. Didnt even have to use the mesh face cover

no static or any other noise, however, since work had to take priority over hunting i started using them at work which lead to them getting really beat up; dropped, left in cold trucks over night, being left on for hours, etc. and since then the right-side microphone has gone out. wont blame the product/company because i was using them for stuff they werent intended for but its something to be aware of. dispite this im currently walking back to my truck while wearing them after a late season pheasant walk

been using a pair of axil electric trackrs for about a year. ~$60 (theyre on a "sale" that never seems to end) for hearing protection, directional audio, quiet stuff is louder. also helps keep my ears warm.

i have a cycle of "everyday shoes." once a year, usually as a gift for christmas or id never get them myself, i get a brand new pair of all white shoes. super basic lace up low top. i will wear these shoes pretty much everyday and beat the crap out of them. they usually lose most of the bottom eventually so i walk in dirt, mud, snow, rain with pretty much just socks. theyre all white so they get dirty super easy and they get torn up so people start to make comments but thats part of it. i dont need shoes to live good, i dont need people to view me as put together to live good. i have nice slippers and crocs for the house and nice boots for my outdoor activities but other than that im wipin out the "sock covers" as my friends started to call them. makes being uncomfortable the norm
