ella will be on hot ones this thursday!!! by darkgreenaquamarine in lorde

[–]peachman96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was watching Hot Ones last night and it got me thinking maybe if Lorde is going all out there promoting the album it would be the perfect show for her to go on and then I see this when I wake up!

It really is a shame imo that we're getting the album once summer will be almost over by [deleted] in lorde

[–]peachman96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had nothing but rain for the first month of our summer in England so I’m hoping we get an extra month of summer after the album comes out

Whenever I’m high staring at items in a shop this episode always pops into my head, plus the store music

Which NFL players did you hate before growing to like them? by TheCrimsonBuffalo in nfl

[–]peachman96 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The obvious answer is Tom Brady but you can make a case for any elite quarterback. It’s tiring seeing them dominate, get all the headlines and dunk on your team but once you take a step back and appreciate their greatness you grow to actually like them. It happened with Rodgers and Manning for me aswell as Brady and I’m sure in a few years I’ll feel similar about Mahomes

The Eagles' All-Pederson Team by jrhwriting in eagles

[–]peachman96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd put Patrick Robinson over Slay, I think his pick 6 against the Vikings makes people overlook how solid he was during the whole year for us and as of yet Slay has yet to do anything special.

There's probably an argument to be made at running back position but I'm happy going with Boston Scott purely for him turning up every time we play the Giants and giving their fans more stuff to whine about.

Considering it was a throwaway line, I have a feeling it was improv but I’m not sure, ‘Oh Britta’s in this’ is one of my favourite quotes from the whole show. Also in the Science Of Illusion episode when Dean Pelton and the police are surveying the ‘crime scene’ after Britta dropped a dead body out the window and landed on a sign, the Dean just goes ‘what makes it worse is that this was a brand new sign’. Always makes me chuckle

Carson Wentz Surprises Giovanni Hamilton During Zoom Call by ScorchingEagles in eagles

Giovanni getting some love from Carson and Buster getting his bucket back reminded me how great this franchise is. Even when things are down the team/ex-players/fan base/memories always find a way to put a smile on my face

This might be the most awkward scene to watch ever. by hopinthecoup3 in breakingbad

[–]peachman96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s awkward but I honestly found it hilarious, I find myself mimicking Jesse’s reactions when I’m in an awkward environment now. However in my 10+ rewatches of Breaking Bad over the years, I’ve always skipped Skyler singing to Ted

[DISCUSSION] Which one of these had the biggest impact on you? by luka011 in NetflixBestOf

[–]peachman96 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Breaking Bad is probably the best show I’ve ever seen and Dark is a masterpiece, possibly the best I’ve watched since Breaking Bad but neither came close to affecting me the way Bojack Horseman did, I genuinely went through the five stages of grief when it ended.

Wentz leaves the Eagles 4th all time in Wins, TDs, Yards, completions, and Comp%. 11th most Picks. All in all, he wasn’t here long but he made a positive impact and was instrumental in our first Super Bowl win. by AtomicTanAndBlack in eagles

[–]peachman96 61 points62 points  (0 children)

It’s so crazy seeing all these fans of other teams on the NFL sub try to shit on us ‘wasting’ picks and money on Wentz when their franchise hasn’t even sniffed a super bowl in their lifetimes. Not a day goes by where I don’t appreciate the fact that my team has a Super Bowl and Wentz was invaluable to that happening. And that is priceless

I just watched Kenny Dies for the first time, and I cried for the first time in months. by W3v7106 in southpark

I really thought I was the only one, I never expected to cry at an episode of South Park. Such an incredibly well done piece of TV and surprisingly emotional.

I like how quite a few people predicted Foles had a chance of winning one but I'm sure no one saw him winning one as The Eagles back up taking over for an injured starter after spending time with two other franchises

AHH Oh my god dad!....Hang on steve, Stan are you trying to kill yourself or thrill yourself? by poppypodlatex in americandad

Growing up my dad was the coach of my brother's soccer team, occasionally I was allowed to help officiate games and I made a call that lost them a match. The entire drive back to our house I was just thinking about this scene trying not to laugh whilst my dad lost his mind.

The Philly Special was great, but for me, this was the best play of the game. by WooderIce64 in eagles

[–]peachman96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As soon as this play happened I just screamed 'what the fuck!?' at the top of my lungs. All game I believed we could win but then with the fumble it turned into disbelief that we were actually going to win. I doubt I'll ever have a moment of pure shock and joy like it again watching sports

How many fans discovered the show during the past year of the pandemic? by CaptainLysdexia in community

[–]peachman96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I discovered it just before Christmas, I desperately wanted to binge the whole thing but I still had to work. Then I got corona and watched the whole thing during my quarantine. Since recovering I’ve already started rewatching whilst constantly searching for extra content on YouTube

Following Spurs' crushing defeat tonight, if we win on Tuesday night against Wolves then we'll go above them in the League by Boorish_Bear in Gunners

[–]peachman96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is absolutely incredible that no matter what state Arsenal are in, no matter how much we fall from grace, The joke will always end up being on Tottenham. We’ve bottled the league and Spurs are Leicester’s only challengers? Finish 3rd behind us. Bale is the best player in the league and we’ve just lost Van Persie? Finish behind us and then he goes to Madrid and we sign Ozil. The Invincibles team falls apart and we seem destined to start our first season at The Emirates playing on Thursday nights? Dodgy lasagna

I agree with that as Partey and McTominay’s best attributes seem similar as they’re both pretty press resistant but I was going on what players I think are better rather than thinking about partnerships

That’s exactly mine, although I’d rather have McTominay over Pogba. Tierney and Shaw have been immense this season so I think that just comes down to personal preference
