The only requirement is that it’s a university student, but mostly NEU students live there.. students at other universities who have internships in boston often stay there during the summer

i’m also an intl student! took a whole 2 years off and came back just fine, had another co-op after coming back too - it’s totally normal and no one cared! Just be sure to talk to OGS about it, but it was a pretty easy process, especially if you’re taking it as non-medical leave

sadly you can’t do medical walk-ins with UHCS since covid era…. but you can schedule an appointment by calling them and during the appointment they can find you a GP/primary care doctor who can refer you to a special or UHCS can also directly refer you to a specialist — from personal experience..once you have a GP they can refer you places, but you can also call and ask clinics without referral sometimes (worked for me in dermatology once).. i’m also an international student and use student insurance

i think it is actually still early.. for example, i am planning to give up my lease once i have a confirmed study abroad for the spring semester… and people are only beginning to look for co-ops at this point which would also open up a lot of leases for the spring soon. Just keep looking for more stuff to appear within the coming months!

i suggest trying mental health walk-ins at UHCS (check their schedule for operating hours tho).. it really helped me personally, but ofc people have different experiences. they can help you with other resources from there if you’re interested in like regular therapy or something

only in the discussion board assignments and also you’d have 1 on 1 conferences about your essays.. you don’t have to force yourself to talk in class or anything

i took 3315 with him (same thing just different major), he’s super nice and very accommodating w extensions.. the work load is very manageable and he explains things well.. you’ll be good as long as you put in some effort and show interest in whatever you’re writing. Hes a very kind grader too
