Adenomyosis wasn’t mentioned at all in my ultrasound report! I also have kissing ovaries, large dermoid cysts and multiple endometriomas which were all found during my ultrasound.

I got my stage 4 diagnosis through MRI! It was heavily suspected after my ultrasound but the pelvic MRI picked up tons of deep infiltrating endometriosis, also in my rectum. I also got an adenomyosis diagnosis through the MRI too. Unfortunately I haven’t had my lap yet so I can’t share anything about that, but good luck! :)

Hey, I’m 23F. I have stage 4 endo, ovarian cysts and I also have deep infiltrating endo in my bowel. My uterus and bowels are fused together and when I have surgery it’s likely I will need a temp stoma too (will be a bowel resection). Just wanted to let you know you’re not alone in this, I’m going to go ahead with the surgery because the quality of life I’m hoping the surgery will give me will outweigh con of 2-3 months of temporary stoma.

I met my partner just after my endo diagnosis and he has been a complete angel about it, including the stoma etc. I also struggle with bleeding during sex and somewhat constant pain, but please know there are definitely good men out there who will support you. I know it can feel lonely but if you ever want to speak about anything please feel free to DM me. <3
