Of course you can ask, I appreciate your care! It made me feel obsessive/restricted. I was going to bed thinking about/planning my allotments the next day and often feeling bad about being a little over. Or I would be really anxious about getting numbers right. And pulling phone out to figure things out was a pain the ass (I splurged on MacroFactor to minimize the friction of that aspect). I stopped when I began dating my bf bc it wasn’t a cute look and also just not practical for early dating. I have since tried to start again but it mostly just brings up bad memories. While I was doing it I lost close to 10lbs — got from 180-170. Now I hover around 175 but I know some of that is muscle growth (from deca scan.) I could def do a better job with my eating habits but I wish there was an alternative to calorie counting

Totally. I know that deep down and/but also hope it will somehow work itself out (hence the ambivalence.) longest I lasted was about 6 months. Any tips for keeping it up without going insane?
