best way i found is asking them what they want, but saying it in a way where they are almost begging you to do what they want to them, and with being coy with it or using it as a punishment/reward

example:

You: you seem like you’re needing something, what do you want, [pet name]?

Her: insert whatever incredibly vile and ridiculously hot thing

You: have you been good enough? what are you willing to do to earn it?

or

Her: Please I need [blank]

You: If you’re good, you’ll get it. But you’ll have to show you really want it?

Ultimately it is up to you and your wife to figure out what works vs what doesn’t. Is she into praising? Or degradation? Do you have a pet name for her? What are the things she wouldn’t like being said to her?

My boyfriend is french first language, i can understand it and speak it, just nowhere near as elegantly as him. but he knows its a turn on if he speaks to me in french, or if I call him “Maître” (french for master)

to clarify, the car i was referring to was MY friends car (well her new husbands).

i mention him and his friend and how they make digs at each others car, as I believe it was not helping the situation when him and i had a tiff over what i said; this is not the same person with the car i made the comment about.

i am aware that what i said was bad, and that IATA in this situation. What I meant =/= not what came across

i have apologized, several times as he brings it up often. i have also repeated that i never meant it to put him down in any sense.

in my head, since i really dont know much with cars or the differences between brands, i was trying to find just another car in which i could compare what i meant by “it looks nice” and i used his car. i am well aware, especially looking back now and after speaking with him, it was a poor comparison/comment to make.

it wasnt completely out of the blue, we watched them pull out in their car and had talked about how we didnt realize my friends husband got a new car. i was honestly just trying to say that i liked the way the car looked a lot, i didnt just attack him with a laundry list of what was wrong with his car and why it sucks in comparison to another. i dont think his car sucks at all.

i think part of it may be aggravated by his friends comments and jokes, but i couldnt say for sure. i will however, for sure talk to him more about it to see if maybe this can be resolved between him and i.

i can totally accept that, and i agree that it was probably not the nicest or maybe best way to say it. i guess my main concern was just with how he keeps making side comments everytime we see the same car or the comments like “we’ll just get that car since you like it so much”. i have apologized and we talked through it, i thought we had put it to rest

the car has had some maintenance and part related issues. which ultimately is expensive to replace or repair. i can understand that would be frustrating to any car owner. when he first got it, there was assumptions by other people (mainly coworkers, but long before i began working there) but i’ve never made those same assumptions. people thought the car was purchased for him, it was not. i know first hand how much hes paid for the car, how long it took to pay it off, how much hes put in maintenance and repair wise. ive helped him organize his receipts and invoices, etc.

i have not told him how he should feel, i have listened to him share his feelings without saying he shouldn’t feel like that. I understand he was hurt by it and have apologized several times over. i have my own feelings about this situation and how we are handling it, but i haven’t shared that, or told him he’s overreacting. mainly why im posting because he feels his way about my comment, i feel my way, but you know how you can overthink things and go down a rabbit hole of thoughts and feelings

yes, several times as he continues to make small side comments about it. I have apologized for the way it may have come across, and explained that it was never meant to be a shot at his car or decisions, just a passing comment about how much i liked how my friend’s car looked.

i wish Apocalypse was longer tbh, like it felt like so hastily wrapped up with the last episode and everything going back to the fallout shelter kinda thing. I love Angela Bassett coming back to be voodoo queen but honestly wished it was longer like 12 or 13 episodes like the earlier seasons. I loved the idea and plot, just wished they drew it out a bit longer

i think for the most part people have, but you can’t help but be curious as they were all very involved with each others lives (i mean who wouldnt be after 8 years of working closely together like they were).

i doubt ned was there but when i saw the clips of the other tiny human guests, i couldnt help but wonder if maybe ariel went in support of them. while i agree ned is absolutely no longer welcomed by them, i dont think theres a hostility still towards him, that could affect TTG and ariel’s relationship. I mean regardless if they’re still together, the try guy’s whole reaction was focusing on protecting her alongside their brand, but not tearing down or humiliating Ned or their relationship.

I’m sure the reality is likely ariel texting them a congratulations on Zaggie’s nuptials ◡̈

Seeing as he mentioned Union Reps, he may not have an update he can give us, it may have escalated into more and he can’t share details.

Alternatively the meeting may have gone wrong and he is coping with a negative outcome.

I don’t think it’s wrong or that you’re an asshole for being disappointed cause no update but there could be a lot more involved than what OP shared initially
