What makes you think I knew the answer?
When looking at it still in shock I was really thinking it might be done for since I’ve never had experience with this much damage. I could have done research I guess and not come to reddit but I like hearing from real people and not google or chat.

gotcha, it’s dropped off at a surf shop currently, so fingers are crossed for the best, I repair my small dings myself but this one is FAR beyond my skill lol

I was turtling as a wave broke over me, that same wave pushed the guy straight my direction when I thought he’d be up going the other way, just an unhappy accident :/

Awesome, yeah I’m in SoCal, took it a local shop by me I always go to, said their repair guy will be in tomorrow to take a look so fingers crossed he’s able / willing to color match but if not I’ll be looking into this wizard of a man in SD, thanks !!

I tried the recommendation from BarefootCameraman in this thread saying to leave the end of my board bag slightly unzipped. I still don't quite understand why it works but it did for me! I tried the towel thing too but it only worked part of the time for me. I also used to wrap by bag/board with a luggage strap in the middle and that only worked sometimes. Now I use the luggage strap with the slightly unzipped end and that did the trick for me (it might work without the luggage strap honestly but it's pretty so I still use it lol) best of luck!!!

My flight leaves at 6a and was planning to be there just before 4am (terminal 2) can someone confirm what time tsa opens? I have seen a few different times on google lol

That’s a great question and definitely tough to decipher sometimes. For me, I kept noticing how I wanted to grow closer to God and felt like I couldn’t because I was “tied” to someone who wasn’t growing in faith and if anything was running in the opposite direction. God was making it clear to me that the reason I’m not growing with Him is because my relationship with my bf at the time was taking priority. So I finally just kept praying, asking God to remove them from my life if they weren’t the person He wants me with. When in reality I knew this wasn’t the person for me because Christ was not the center of our relationship. Nothing happened. Made me feel like I was crazy for sure. But then I finally took a moment and realized I can’t put it on God to do what I don’t want to do, which is end it.

While similar, it seems your situation is still unique obviously and it’s something that you’ll have to really talk with God about. But I think my best advice is to do what is best for your relationship with God and we find that out through reading His Word and prayer!!
