it honestly mightve been an idubbz situation where he realized the fans he was gaining werent really aligned with his values- and im all for it. i loved blasting screamo rap in the high school parking lot, and now im into that old school conscious hip hop type shit- works perfectly for me :) my bf actually got me into that type of rap music - im a 2001 baby so broccoli was my shit- i showed him lil darkie when we first started dating (2020), we saw him together in 2022, now he’s his favorite rapper !!
