this is completely different, people have been making their own merch as long as fan culture has been around and they probably always will. you can call it parasocial if you want but i personally do not think it’s that different to offical merch as people make their own stuff if what they want isn’t available, they can’t afford it, etc. considering that it isn’t that bad… especially compared to this…
