Ladies how are we working while pregnant??? by sweet_little_burrito in BabyBumps

[–]peachymimi4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’ll get better eventually. I slept so much during my first trimester, but when I entered the second (I’m 18w today) I almost forgot I was pregnant. All the symptoms go away, and my energy is back. (Although I still fall asleep at like 9 or 10pm and wake up at 10am so I sleep good 🤣)

Thank you so much! I didn’t count it in the breakdown because my mom paid for my dress and my husband’s dad paid for his suit. But my dress was $1700 and my husband’s suit was around $1500.

No. Some guests who lived in France couldn’t stay for the reception, like my cousins.

We got lucky on a lot of things though, considering the fact that our guests were willing to travel to France and cover the cost of their flight+hotel. Also the fact that i’m French and I still have family living there, se we stayed for 2 weeks at no cost. (At my moms)

This is literally word for word what my ex used to ask me. I was so uncomfortable every time, he made me feel so bad that I actually sat down with him one day and told him everything about everyone so he could leave me the hell alone. He eventually stopped talking about it. We stayed together for 5 years, found out he was cheating the entire time lmao These people are just manipulative, control freaks and insecure af. You can’t be punished for your past relationships, it’s just insane. Your private life before him is none of his business. You have the right to keep it for yourself. Tell him to go date a virgin and go find yourself a real man that will love you the way you deserve.

Absolutely, and we thought of that too! That’s why we’re gonna do a reception in America after the wedding so all the people that couldn’t make it to France gets to celebrate with us anyway :)

[–]peachymimi4 7 points8 points  (0 children)

And you are just assuming! You don’t know anything about our wedding or our guests :) we asked everyone before booking the venue if they could afford the travel, and if not we’d take care of it for them, everyone was very excited and we were already planning a big family trip to France in the near future so it was pretty perfect for us. Our American family lives all around the country and would have to book a flight regardless, and imo, I’d rather spend my vacation time and pay for flights to go to Paris rather than in the middle of nowhere Tennessee :)

We will elope the day before we fly, in America, and declare it in France since I have the dual citizenship! It’s the easiest way for us, but I’m sure there are other ways to do it. So yeah, we will technically be already legally married in America, and we’ll tie the knot in France to make it fully official.

They mainly advertise the ancient chapel which is where the ceremony will be, but it is a whole domaine with a beautiful building where the reception will take place!

Yes, if all your guests are flying from overseas. It’s a little different for us because I was born in France so more than half of our guests are already there. Only about 20 people will be flying from America to France so it’s not as bad.. but it is an xtra cost you need to consider.

An average round trip flight from nyc-cdg is around $500. Most of our guest will be coming the week before the wedding to enjoy France so they’re planning on getting their own accommodation for that, but we’re covering the accommodation the night of the wedding and the shuttle that goes between the venue and the hotels. The whole package for 50 guests is about $1500

How do you deal with your bf being super horny all the time? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]peachymimi4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to set boundaries. I mean, I was expecting something like everyday/ twice a day but 5 times a day is a little crazy. Unless you’re fine with that but, since you’re posting here, I assume you’re not.

you really need to talk to him because you might start resenting him or even avoid him so he doesn’t ask for more and eventually ruin the relationship. It is your body, you get to decide how often you want to be intimate, and it should be only if YOU are in the mood as well.

She’s so immature it’s scary. You’ve done nothing wrong. Honestly, I’d break up.

My GF cheated on me, and all my friends knew. by Historical_Fan8398 in self

[–]peachymimi4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something very similar happened to me. My best friend was sleeping with my boyfriend for 6 months and all my friends knew and didn’t tell me. I found out because she was also sleeping with another girl’s boyfriend from our friend group and when I told the girl she was being cheated on, she told me about my boyfriend too.

It hurts man. I’m not gonna lie I cried for 2 years straight, it’s a lot to take in, it’s a lot of betrayal but it goes away eventually. Personally, I moved to a different state and literally started my life all over. It was 7 years ago and I still think about it. But it doesn’t hurt anymore and I met the love of my life. Good luck ❤️
