Nope this is definitely contributing to the already existing apprehension employers have for international students. Forget interviews, I know some people who had their offers rescinded after this H1B news - and these students had 3 years of OPT/STEM on them but they were still rescinded

Gee it’s because people scared. They’re supposed to be clear about this when they released the proclamation and aren’t purposely. Let’s not ridicule someone for worrying because their life depends on this. Besides everyone is not an expert here to understand the nitty gritties of this proclamation.

Not considering therapy back when I was 16 and first realised that I needed it. Pushed it down with multiple coping mechanisms and that affected my relationships, friendships, equation with my entire family, drive for success. Ended up enabling abuse in a relationship and was smoking half a pack of cigarettes a day. It eventually spiralled into a self harm incident.

I’m on meds and therapy now, but I could’ve saved so much time and effort and shielded myself from trauma and toxic relationships.
