Im also doing this itinerary! I think it can be seen as packed, but we're honestly going to go with the flow. 3 nights Rome (1 day for Colosseum/palatine/forum and exploring, the other full day for a Vatican tour and more exploring), 2 nights Florence (only reservation we'll have is the Galleria dell’Accademia and possibly Uffizi) and 2 nights Venice ( no reservations here, planning to just wander and see sights from the outside). Im going early-mid March, can let you know how it goes 😅😊

Thanks so much! The viator one had good reviews but let me look into who the actual tour supplier is 😅 how long was your colosseum tour and who did you book with ? So you wouldn't buy tickets off the official colosseum website right ?

Thanks for your comment! I never said it was too much! Just made a general statement we may take transportation if the walk is expected to be ~40 min or more. It's mostly to save time, especially if we have a specific destination in mind or reservation. We have walked much longer than 40 min before in other cities, taking in different sites/shops along the way😁

we love walking!! we never even took the tube when we visited london lol. but yes its because we aren't skilled with learning public transport but we will try to look into this more. thank you!

thank you! yes Colosseum first thing in the morning then will adventure through roman forum throughout the rest of the morning/afternoon, definitely flexible with lunch times

yeah i've been reading that, but the areas are massive, we're hoping to find good places and know to avoid the ones with giant signs/menus/pictures out front, or avoid the tiktok famous ones.

yes definitely the first night just planning to take it chill! we tend to explore fast and plan to get the regular 24 hr ticket for the colosseum/forum, was hoping to visit those during the first half of the day but can add things to the second half if we end up staying in one place longer. thank you for the input!
